Good flavor, good protein, good nutrients! I love having these shakes as a post-run snack! It’s a great source of protein for a good price. I also enjoying having these as a quick breakfast when I’m in a rush (I’ll mix it with a shot of espresso if I need an extra boost). Also makes a good post-practice boost for my picky 11 year old athlete!

These are the worst protein shakes I have ever tried. I usually buy Premier but decided to save some money and try the chocolate Members Mark option. They're undrinkable. I don't know if I got a bad batch or if they say outside in the heat for a little while after delivery but they taste like plastic and bengay or Pepto bismol flavored chocolate. I could not take more than 2 sips before throwing it away and I am not a wasteful person. Now I have to drive back to the store to return them.

I bought this as a sub for my fairlife I usually get. I got a Ninja Creami and planned to make ice cream so my logic was how bad could it be..... I used to get the equate brand back in the day in the tin cans and assumed it was be about the same. Let me say, even blended with other items... it was still chalky and gross. If I had not already thrown away the packaging I would have tried to return it. I feel its ok if you are in a pinch or if you really do not care about chaulky or powdery liquids... I will not be buying it again.

It tastes horrible, that's why it lost a star. I'm in love with the Atkins shakes, but I could not lose weight on them. I've tried other brands with similar ingredients, and the same problem they did not fill me up as a meal replacement, and then I was eating bad stuff. I decided not to listen to the internet and get something with whey protein and milk. As they say, this is more for weight gain and body builders. So I always stayed far away from it. Well, I wish I hadn't. Not only does it fill me up, but I don't crave anything have to force myself to eat, but I've been losing a pound a day. Other brands I worked out daily, hardly ate what I did eat was healthy and I'd gain weight. So I just guzzle it down real quick so I don't have to taste it. Spending all this money on products that don't work is annoying. I'm 44 and already have hormon issues and problems with weight because of it. It's so hard to find something that works. I hope this review helps others. The minute the price goes up because of my review and people start buying it just so you know membersmark, I'll stop drinking and find something else. Then come back and leave a review for the new product I find. So don't be a price gouger and up the price. It's already pricey as it is compared to other brands with similar ingredients.

I add HALF of this each day to my morning coffee...its is perfect. I do not care for it straight out of the carton, but love it as an add in to boost recipes and such. I wish it did come in different flavors, but for now I simply add a tablespoon of coconut coffee syrup (or sometimes pepermint...yum!).

Anyone who thinks premier is better, has broken taste buds. This is definitely not the best but it is good and cost appropriate. It's an easy snack and can be useful to add other powders like collagen, creatine or inositol. I just wish this came in a vanilla flavor. I would buy so much more.

To simplify for those who already have tried protein shakes, I've tried Premier Protein Chocolate and it was great taste wise, not too strong, the artificial sugary taste was mitigated. I've also tried the Walmart Protein Shake, also respective however with a Pepto bismol'y aftertaste which I didn't find desirable. I expected this to taste similar to Walmarts label, but it tastes near identical to Premier that it's only off by a couple notes, and for the money that you save, it's worth the swap.

These taste very similar to the premier protein ones in the box (I've never had the ones in the plastic bottle so I don't know if they taste the same). I usually get the Fairlife and they were out of stock, these do not compare in any way to those. But for a quick protein shake they're okay.

Pluses: Good calorie count and low carb Not too thick Decent chocolate taste Good amount of protein Not great: Adding so many vitamins leaves an aftertaste I don’t like thickeners in protein drinks, but every single one has them I keep them ice cold and use a big wide milkshake straw to get it down quicker. I don’t have time to stop and eat lunch and wash my hands, so they’re a convenient way for me to get protein without too many calories. I’ll repurchase.

I really didn't notice much difference in taste between this and Premiere Protein (the brand most people are comparing this to). Premiere Protein gives you flavor alternatives, so that's good. However, strictly economically, Member's Mark costs 4.9 cents per gram of protein, and Premiere Protein is about 5.8 cents, making this about 16% cheaper.
