These protein shakes aren't nearly as thick as others I've tried, and they taste like chocolate pudding. You don't get any weird aftertaste from the protein even though there's whey protein in them. I drink half to supplement or when my meal is lower on protein and put the other half in the fridge for the next meal. Can't beat the price in comparison to name brand either. This is definitely a winner for me!

Trying the Member's Mark Protein Shake to save a little money. While the nutritional content seems to be equal to that of the name-brand product, the taste does not measure up. It has a chemical taste that is not very appealing. Was able to add sugar-free chocolate syrup to somewhat mask the chemical taste but not completely.

Taste is the chocolate is very good. Very high in protein and very low in sugar for which I give it high marks. I really don’t like that it is artificially flavored and contains sucralose. Better than eating a candy bar but still not the healthiest option for as a shake goes. Great for a diabetic or a gluten intolerance person. Great taste when I chilled before serving them.

I really wanted to love these since they are cheaper than the premium protein brand. The first one I drank was ok, but then I noticed a strange aftertaste. I would probably only use them to mix with other ingredients in a smoothie because of the aftertaste.

I got this a few weeks ago and the flavor is overpowering and not so good aftertaste. I have even attempted to mix with milk to limit the after taste but it did not help. My grandson refused to drink it too and he loves the vanilla and banana ones.

We typically drink the name brand option of this type of product. This option is much thicker in consistency than the name brand option. The flavor and taste were fine and compared very similar. If you prefer a thicker drink (almost milkshake), then you would definitely enjoy this, but if you’re looking for more liquid form, this is t for you

I have purchased this item for delivery approximately 6 times. I purchase 3-4 boxes at a time. Every time too many boxes are put in the shipping box. The shipping box is torn dented and torn apart in some area. This last time it was as so poorly packaged that the individual boxes busted open in the shipping box and the drink product spilled out in the box. It’s a chocolate milk protein so it was sticky. There is no way the person delivering the box didn’t know the protein drinks broke apart and leaking in the shipping box because I saw it as soon as I walked outside. They need to not overpack the shipping box making it too heavy to carry. Plus not leave a shipping container that obviously broke apart leaving busted sticky protein drinks leaking all over my porch.

I tried these protein shakes hoping they would stand up to the competition. I didn't like these nearly as well as the other brand. The chalky taste just didn't compare. I was really hoping they would be better, as they are a better price, but I was left disappointed.

I will start with the positive features of this drink. The portion size is adequate. You do feel full after drinking it. I feel it could be a meal replacement. It is not chalky. It is smooth and creamy. Thirty grams of protein at only 160 calories is a great benefit. What I didn’t like about the drink. The taste is bland. I thought it tasted watered down as I was drinking it. It definitely has an aftertaste that doesn’t go away. I have had other protein drinks from Sam’s and like them much better.

My family was happy to sample this Member's Mark Chocolate Protein Shake. My husband and I tried it first. The drink had a chalky taste that neither one of us liked. We gave it to my daughter and grandchildren, and none of them cared for the flavor. Again, it was too chalky. All of us shook the bottles before opening them. It was well packaged. I would not recommend purchasing this product until they revamp the flavoring.
