These protein shakes aren't nearly as thick as others I've tried, and they taste like chocolate pudding. You don't get any weird aftertaste from the protein even though there's whey protein in them. I drink half to supplement or when my meal is lower on protein and put the other half in the fridge for the next meal. Can't beat the price in comparison to name brand either. This is definitely a winner for me!

Let me first say i do not like protein shakes, however im trying to make healthier choices so i gave it a try. the shake was chocolate but not very 'chocolaty'. It was smooth with no chalky taste so thats a plus. Their convenience is nice and can prevent missing meals and important vitamins and nutrients.

We typically drink the name brand option of this type of product. This option is much thicker in consistency than the name brand option. The flavor and taste were fine and compared very similar. If you prefer a thicker drink (almost milkshake), then you would definitely enjoy this, but if you’re looking for more liquid form, this is t for you

I really wanted to love these since they are cheaper than the premium protein brand. The first one I drank was ok, but then I noticed a strange aftertaste. I would probably only use them to mix with other ingredients in a smoothie because of the aftertaste.

I will start with the positive features of this drink. The portion size is adequate. You do feel full after drinking it. I feel it could be a meal replacement. It is not chalky. It is smooth and creamy. Thirty grams of protein at only 160 calories is a great benefit. What I didn’t like about the drink. The taste is bland. I thought it tasted watered down as I was drinking it. It definitely has an aftertaste that doesn’t go away. I have had other protein drinks from Sam’s and like them much better.

I have purchased this item for delivery approximately 6 times. I purchase 3-4 boxes at a time. Every time too many boxes are put in the shipping box. The shipping box is torn dented and torn apart in some area. This last time it was as so poorly packaged that the individual boxes busted open in the shipping box and the drink product spilled out in the box. It’s a chocolate milk protein so it was sticky. There is no way the person delivering the box didn’t know the protein drinks broke apart and leaking in the shipping box because I saw it as soon as I walked outside. They need to not overpack the shipping box making it too heavy to carry. Plus not leave a shipping container that obviously broke apart leaving busted sticky protein drinks leaking all over my porch.

I thought this might a good alternative to the Premier Protein drinks I usually purchase at Sam's Club. They are a little bit less expensive, and they had a $5.00 off sale. However, there is very little chocolate taste. It's hard to describe, the taste but it doesn't taste like chocolate to me. I would probably not buy it again.

I tried these protein shakes hoping they would stand up to the competition. I didn't like these nearly as well as the other brand. The chalky taste just didn't compare. I was really hoping they would be better, as they are a better price, but I was left disappointed.

My family was happy to sample this Member's Mark Chocolate Protein Shake. My husband and I tried it first. The drink had a chalky taste that neither one of us liked. We gave it to my daughter and grandchildren, and none of them cared for the flavor. Again, it was too chalky. All of us shook the bottles before opening them. It was well packaged. I would not recommend purchasing this product until they revamp the flavoring.

Opening the shake your nose gets hit with a pungent smell of the weird cardboard fake chocolate, even when chilled the shake the smell will linger on. Taking the first sip it really is not the best flavor and personally I could not get myself to drink the entire thing, at most only got halfway of one before giving up and now have 17 just sitting in my pantry.
