I tried these protein shakes hoping they would stand up to the competition. I didn't like these nearly as well as the other brand. The chalky taste just didn't compare. I was really hoping they would be better, as they are a better price, but I was left disappointed.

I will start with the positive features of this drink. The portion size is adequate. You do feel full after drinking it. I feel it could be a meal replacement. It is not chalky. It is smooth and creamy. Thirty grams of protein at only 160 calories is a great benefit. What I didn’t like about the drink. The taste is bland. I thought it tasted watered down as I was drinking it. It definitely has an aftertaste that doesn’t go away. I have had other protein drinks from Sam’s and like them much better.

I bought these based on a review that stated they were better tasting and less expensive than the name brands I'd been buying. My first sip told me they were NOT better tasting. The aftertaste stuck with me the rest of the day. The small savings was not worth suffering through finishing the package, so I'll be returning these ASAP.

I thought this might a good alternative to the Premier Protein drinks I usually purchase at Sam's Club. They are a little bit less expensive, and they had a $5.00 off sale. However, there is very little chocolate taste. It's hard to describe, the taste but it doesn't taste like chocolate to me. I would probably not buy it again.

Looks like and Is very similar to premier protein but it does not taste like premier protein. This had an after taste and a significantly higher sodium content. Threw away 2/3 of the case.

Unfortunately I am not a fan of the protein drink. I am very picky when it comes to drinks/ chocolate drinks and this one I did not care for. My husband thought it tasted alright and is currently drinking the rest of them.

Both me and my husband were not able to tolerate the taste of this product. It left a very bad after taste and also caused both of us to have indigestion after consuming it. Recommend this be dropped from Sam’s inventory!

I drink protein shakes occasionally and love chocolate. I was not really a fan of this protein shake. I drank it cold and with ice but was very chalky and has a diet soda like aftertaste. It was a thick consistency. I liked the convenience of the packaging and the amount of protein, it does keep you full.

I have been on slimfast for over 20 yrs my dietitian recommend this drink to get the protein. I had the lap banding 2006. I have a hard time getting 60 mg of protein everyday so that is why protein shakes were recommed Sam’s stop carrying slimfast it is now shipped. I need the slimfast that day. So i tried this protein drink. They tasted just like slimfast even better and also higher protein than slim fast. Most protein don’t taste good at all but these protein shakes are delicious

Prefer Fairlife protein shake but Sam's Club has been out of stock. These are okay but don't, for me, taste as good as the Fairlife brand
