Was finally able to get at least the Series S

The game runs well and downloads are much better. It took awhile to get it right cause of our storage device and sorting the games that didn't need to be downloaded again but we got it. We were actually lucky to get it. Took my parents to Walmart on 07/22 between the hrs of 4pm -7pm and my son father seen the last one in stock. He told me and I told him to hurry and get it. We actually got it for the actual retail price a little more with the warranty and sales tax. We love it!! Waiting to catch the Series X still!!

Best Christmas gift

Best Christmas gift. There are some pros and cons. The pros are it is a heck of a lot more fast than my xbox one, the graphics are way better, the system will fit literally anywhere. The cons are i have had a few freezes and gliches, I don't like the controller. Those are some pros and cons I noticed. But overall I would highly recommend this product.

You should buy this over the X for now

truly a good purchase, it runs next gen games just the way you want it, even though it lacks a disc drive, most people don't need one, and most people don't need 4K either, but if you have a 4K Monitor or TV, you can support 4K on this, and on top of all that, it has 4 teraflops, all at the cost of $299? that's just amazing

Next Gen Console!!!

I was on the fence about buying an Xbox Series S but now I’m glad I did. I’ve owned every PlayStation console since the PS1 but myself like many others haven’t been able to find a PS5 since the release in 2020. I think this worked out in my favor because I bought my first Xbox

Don’t listen to the people online

I had an xbox one x before this which was the most recent at the time. This console is super fast and really nice graphics and clear improvements from the one x. This is great for me until I can get the series x when it’s cheaper and easy to get. Such a good console and really worth the money. People wanna knock this xbox because it’s not the series x but it is still a big improvement all around.

Xbox Series S is A Fine Unit.

xbox series s is an absolute Rockstar. Zen 2 based 8 core 16 thread cpu just like the series x and a cut back gpu with 8 gb of vram for gaming makes for a console that many would never see the difference on screen between series S and series X. The PCIE Gen 4 ssd makes for a grand experience loading games but needs to be expanded on this unit. 512GB ssd but only 320ish available out of the box for storage does suck. lastly. no disk drive finally explained the 299$ price tag. overall excellent experience highly recommend!

Hi Jake--Thank you for recommending Xbox Series S. If you're running low on storage, you have a couple of options. The best solution is to invest in the Seagate SSD 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S, which will add 1TB of SSD storage to your console. Another solution is to add a standard external hard drive, which can be used to store and play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S. We hope you have a lot of fun with your Xbox. -Chuck, Xbox Customer Care

Comes in really late

I ordered this back in November 27th for my sons birthday/Christmas and item is coming in January and I dont know why it is taking so long. Console is great I saw him playing on his uncles Xbox series s and it was fun but I do not think it is worth 2 months of waiting.

Very good system

Great System but a bit low on the memory storage. Recommend buying an external storage that is compatible with the system (which there is a 4TB one) and the 1TB internal storage for the games that are picky and won't work from the external hard drive which are mostly newer games and games upgraded to the x/s version for enhanced game play. If I'm wrong about some of the information I apologize but that's what I've found out while using this system. I think this issue also relates to the Series X as well although Series X comes with 1TB memory soo if you upgrade to the series X later on and already have the 1TB internal memory card/hard drive/whatever you want to call it then you just insert that into the system in the back and you have 2TB of memory right at start which is pretty good for any game to play from that's on the xbox.

Decent console

Even though I don’t have the console, for what I’ve heard this thing is a pretty good console. Although it is not as powerful as the Seiries X, it still can play games pretty good. My only problem with it is that there is really no first party games on this thing. This thing depends on games like Cod, Valhalla, and Cyberpunk. With Halo Infinite delayed until 2021 there’s not that much first party games to play on this thing, but in 2021 there’s going to be a lot of new Xbox exclusives coming out. So hopefully by then that problem will be solved.

Unsure

Only reason I bought it was for State of Decay and Forza. So far, I don't see anything good upcoming. I do like the size of it, I also like how much better State of Decay and Forza run on it. It's a better option for anything XBOX, why buy the Series X when there's nothing worth buying it for? So I'm happy with my Series S.
