This is the perfect nextgen digital and compact console. The graphics and speed is 10/10 and it is very kid friendly. Some people may say it has like no storage and I don’t want to spend 200$ on a 1tb expansion card. I got a 40$ 1tb external hart drive and plugged it in and had 1500 gigs of storage. Then people say it only has 3 usb slots so I bought a 12$ usb hub off Amazon and it has 4 usb slots so In Total you will have 6 slots.

This past year has brought many surprises and the sheer amount of fun I've had with the Series S has definitely been one of them. I abstained from owning an Xbox console last generation, having owned all iterations of the PS4. Unable to attain a PS5 during launch, I opted to give Xbox another go and was able to land a Series S. The first thing I noticed was how small the console is, even in comparison to the PS4 slim. Setup was easy enough, though setup requires the utilization of a mobile device and the Xbox app. Once everything was setup, the first thing I wanted to test was performance with Apex Legends. Apex Legends is a great cross generation test. Given its size, I wasn't sure it would handle the game as well as the PS4 Pro. I was wrong. Not only did the console keep pace with Frames Per Second (FPS) with the PS4 Pro, but it remained quiet and cool throughout my gaming sessions. Access to Gamepass Ultimate is HUGE. It's been a tremendous amount of fun to play games from the Xbox 360 generation again and have access to and play games from the previous Xbox generation. Having reached the end of Netflix and every other streaming service, this has been a breath of fresh air and an absolute blast. We tested out Gears of War 1 - 3, Forza Horizon 4, Doom Eternal and more. Having access to this service alone makes owning at least the Series S a must. I really enjoy the console and was able to bring games from my External hard drive to the console from xbox one with ease. don't listen to the guys who say "PS5 is better" or those who gave 1 stars before it even released. Buy the console you want and one that you'd prefer.

Im a PS person but thought I'd try the xbox. I'm not a fan of the controllers but I can get use to it. What I don't like is how complicated the set up is, The signup, adding new users., having to download one app to install, another app to monitor family, adding my billing information so that only I can approve purchases. To add or remove anything is so complicated. The console is nice and small. I guess I have to get use to it, i'm use to the simplicity of Playstation.

A very great budget next-gen console that is good enough to play some next and current-gen on but if you're planning to play a lot of next-gen games, this one should last you to more games are released next year. It might even be good to hold you for a year. I think once more games come out next fall, you'll need to upgrade and maybe keep this one in the living room.

I was just like you guys at one point. Trying to see if the console was good or not. In my opinion, there is barely a difference from the Series x and s. So in all it is worth the money and you should 110%buy if you are trying to get a low budget console. Graphics are great and it only will take a week or week and a half to arrive at your front porch.

Delivery Box came damaged at the corner but the Xbox box inside was fine the console itself is slow to start up sometimes it takes like2-3 mins just to turn on to the dashboard so annoying top it off it just cut offs the game and goes to dashboard sometimes during gameplay

Whether you have a 4K or 1080p TV, the games are going to look great and load much faster thanks to the SSD drive. While graphical performance may not be on par with the Series X, it's still ahead of the One X in both speed and performance.

Ive been playing on the OG Xbox one since release and after getting the Xbox series S, Ive noticed a huge difference. Graphics are better, performance is way better, and the FPS makes the game look buttery smooth compared to what I was use to playing on. I would highly recommend the series s if youre having trouble finding a series x. Ive decided to get the series s now until the series x becomes readily available in stores.
