sorry for it being so long; recently, my 7-year-old Xbox was having problems playing fallout, which was understandable, and I just got the new box S to hopefully fix the problems of the game crashing once in a while, it did not. It has gotten so much worse, how is a brand new console with better specs going to perform worse than my 7-year-old console? every single time I load up fallout and get in combat, it freezes and stops working. And in watchdogs which I never had had a problem before it froze up on me as well! I was hoping it was because I was downloading some games while I was playing (which should still not be a problem in my opinion) but even after nothing should have stood in the way of me having a great experience with my brand new series S, it still crashes every single time, which is much more frequently than my original box one.

Excellent product for the money Got it here for reg retail price of $299.00 I've had it for months now and it runs about 4 hours a day I purchased a small USB fan to blow down on the top of the console it does get a little hot --- ( just a precaution ) Load times have definitely shortened quite a bit. Video streams perfectly Would be nice if Microsoft would put out an external optical drive for it So I could place my boxed titles But I find running digital downloads less of a hassle Excellent buy

For us not being super hardcore gamers, the Series S is perfect and Walmart did an amazing job, it was meant to arrive the second week of January and it arrived on December 23 making it to be the cherry on top of our Christmas gifts. Thank you Walmart!

i like everything about the Series S its small enough to travel with, can fit in some places that other consoles cant ive had mine for a month and still am loving it. I Recommend this console for anyone that has a budget i bought this in store not online.

I love this console. Smaller than I thought! Upgraded from my PS4, after being an original Xbox and Xbox 360 guy. The one flaw is the memory size and that only the external memory stick by seagate can play Series X/S games while other external drives (via USB port) can only store them, but can store and play Xbox one/360. Easily transferable from external drive to internal memory to play, but just a hassle and means you prob have to make room.

This is a great option for anyone looking for a Game Pass box. My external HDD expands the storage for low-priority games, and relying on the Game Pass library makes not having a disc drive a non-issue. If you dont have a 4K TV, or are looking for 60FPS over resolution, and you already have a digital Xbox game library or stick to Game Pass, this is a great cheaper option for a next gen (current gen) console. My only long term concern is that developers stop emphasizing 60FPS on games in the future. I hope this continues to be an option, even if it means cutting to 1080p over 1440p.

Item works great but FedEx delivered this package like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. When the package was dropped off, the interior and exterior box was ripped up and taped over to try to hold it together. It looked awful and if the product had any scratches or did not work, I would have demanded a refund. But the product was safe and works great. Fire your delivery team!!

So I have owned the Xbox Series S and X for about a week now, and each has its upsides and downsides. The S is only $300, making it a great value for anyone looking for a new Xbox console. I have purchased the game pass, and I feel like it is a must-have for the S. It has so many great games and such a vast library. It is a shame that it does not include Call of Duty games, but the fact that it has every Battlefield and Halo game included makes up for it. I have two main complaints about it. The first is the storage size; for an all-digital console, it is important to have a large hard drive, but it is not. After installing Halo MCC and Call of Duty Black Ops 3, half the hard drive was already filled. My second complaint is the lack of a disc drive. I find myself going to the Xbox Series X more and more because of the disc drive. It is an advantage because you can buy used disc to save money. This might save money in the long run and can actually be cheaper than the S because of the savings. You are also able to sell used discs, which you cannot do with digital games. Overall, if you are looking for a game pass device and only want to buy a few games here and there, this is the device for you.

The games look and run great. The only thing I wish was that it would show you how to turn an game off without me having to look it up on Youtube. I had to do this because this is my first Xbox. Other then that I am having an great time with my Xbox Series S.

Purchased this Xbox thinking it would come with a US power cable instead came with a AU cord had to go buy a non plorized power cable at Best Buy 125v works fine just make sure it’s non plorized n you’ll be fine I had to take two trips I bought the wrong cable at first. You welcome ! Other than that packaging n system are great !
