Goes on easy and does not feel sticky at all, which I love cause I hate sticky things. Used it when all of a sudden I was feeling pain in my calf muscle and it worked! I love it's a roll on.I shake it well and roll it on. I don't have to rub it in. It soaks in pretty quick and not long after, I am getting the relief I need. It really helps and lasts for hours. I used the Biofreeze roll on where it hurt me the most and on the first day I did experience some relief. I used it at night and I even wore socks to sort of lock in some heat. The next night when I used it again I didn't feel any relief at all. I then applied it during the day and I applied it multiple times throughout the day and I did feel some relief. All in all I think this product is hit or miss.

I didn't notice much of a difference after applying it and waiting for a while. Maybe I did something wrong. I decided to give it to my dad to try it since he works in a job where he uses his back a lot and he's older than 55. He hasn't commented on it, so I'm assuming it might have worked for him.
