My neck hurts due to spondylitis and this is the closest that has come to relieving it! I don’t know how much it actually does besides provide a sensation that’s distracting from pain, but that has been useful in a few situations where I’ve had injuries. I do like the ease of the roll on, it provides nice thin layers that you can build up and doesn’t get super goopy and messy.
