Its easy to apply without the mess of having cream all over my hand. The pain relief is almost instant. I love the cooling effect this has and again how easy it is to use.

It provides the effect of ice on a sore muscle or a sprain which I experiened recently - I sprained my ankle. The roll on application made it so easy to apply to my ankle and the product itself brought so much relief to the pain and swelling associated with the sprain. This is a great product to always have on hand.

The ease of roll-on allows your hands to remain free of the smell when being applied. Biofreeze does bring a soothing relief for muscle pains. The Menthol smell is strong and it does get somewhat clumpy on the roll top after application.

I enjoy the smell from a distance, don't get it on your hand and smell it up close, it is really strong, reminds me of vicks. As I said before, I do like the smell, after it is applied, the smell dosn't last too long, but the pain relief does!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This month I happened to get sick, the kind of sick that causes sore muscles and achiness. Mainly a very sore and stiff left shoulder. I tried OTC products but nothing was getting to the root of the problem. I rolled the Biofreeze Pain Relief Roll-On all over where it was bothering me and was pleasantly surprised. First, the roll-on application is great for staying mess-free. 2nd, there's no overpowering aroma. 3rd, I was sort of expecting my skin to feel crazily cold but it didn't. Just a minor cooling effect and it seemed to work for a little while. In the terms of longevity, I do wish it worked longer. But it is only a topical application so that's understandable.
