[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use cold therapy for pain relief on my legs (particularly calves) a lot. Either an ice pack, or a balm, or a freeze type lotion/cream. The topical creams/balms all typically require you to get some on hand and then thoroughly apply it to affected area, which basically gets the hands dirty. A roll on is a really useful thing in this regard. You simply take it out and roll it on the affected area as much as needed. The size of the tube is small enough to easily fit into a backpack or even pocket to carry with oneself. Also the scent fades away quickly, so as not to be bothersome after a while. The cold sensation did last a while, and I didn't feel pain for a number of hours after using the gel, so overall I think this is effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this the middle of December and it has been an lifesaver! First off I love that it's a roll on which makes it really easy to apply. I've used similar items in lotion form and found that I was wasting a lot of product by getting it all over my hands but that is absolutely not an issue with this one. I have neck and should issues from an accident and have been trying to find a product like this for years. You also don't have the same problem as with the patches where they keep falling off. All in all I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an iveethe counter pain reliever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t a huge fan of this one. It does have a nice cooling effect when applied and I do love the roll on because it makes it easy as well. You don’t have to touch the product with your hands and it rolls on nice and evenly. It did provide some immediate relief however it only lasted a few minutes. I feel like there’s better products out there.

I was applying it directly as stated on the bottle but could only provide relief topically. I don’t think it is strong enough.

I also used it on a pulled muscle after running and it provided some temporary relief. I think it is good to use while waiting for oral pain medication to take effect.

I was able to use the roll on biofreeze to lessen my pain and allow myself to stretch. I applied it several times a day because the warming sensation decreased my pain in order to make it tolerable. The best part about the roll on vs the ointment is it doesn't get on your hands and burn your eyes!

I wish they had an unscented version because I can only use it at night before bed. I could use it before going to work but can’t because I’d walk around smelling like a eucalyptus tree.

Anyway, I tried this roll on pain relief from Biofreeze, and it is fantastic! I absolutely love that I don’t have to get the product on my hands when I apply it. I can grab it off the table, roll it on, and carry on. No need to wash my hands several times to try to remove a greasy cream. The product also doesn’t have a strong smell. It does smell like menthol, but it is much less noticeable in the bottle than many other pain creams, and not at all detectable once it is applied. I also like that it goes on clear and dries fast. Oh, and most importantly, it really worked on the pain! I’m sold! I will definitely be buying this again when this bottle runs out. Actually I might even buy a second bottle to keep in my purse!

I found the bio freeze worked well ony minor aches. The roll on ball application was easy and I didn't have to use my hand to apply. No gross feeling on my hand. Touch free!!
