The cooling sensation is instant relief and feels really nice. The scent is very strong but that is expected. The roller ball is also nice as it makes it mess free and you don’t get it on your hands. I used to use Icy Hot, after trying Bio a few years ago it’s my go to. I probably use it way to much but it gives the best relief to my left shoulder. BioFreeze is a basic need in our home.
