After rolling it on you may still have to rub it in a little bit with your fingers. It dries down quickly; I didn't notice any sticky residue left behind.

I love the minty, vibrant fragrance. And the way the pain relief gel creates the sensation of fluctuating between very cold and very warm is soothing on my sore shoulder muscles.

I roll on a thin layer and then use the roller ball to put pressure on sore muscles and work out the knots. Great for acupressure. Between the biofreeze and the roller ball pressure, that usually takes care of what's ailing me.

It relieves the pain momentarily, then a few hours later I will apply some more. Great product overall. This is very convenient because it is a roll on product and you do not have to get it on your hands.

I have never liked the smell of any of the roll on's or creams. Also, my arthritis gets more relief from heat, not cold! I have to be honest, it smells and acts just like every other menthol remedy. Nothing new or unique about it. Everyone knows you're wearing it from the smell. I will keep hoping for a more effective, less smelly product. I will note; it doesn't work badly, it just doesn't work for me.

Unlike some pain relievers that are applied to an area of minor joint/muscle pain or minor soreness it does not have a strong medicine type smell. The roll on applicator is great for applying the product to a specific area of minor pain or soreness. No mess and no clean up is required after application. Almost immediately you can feel the cool pain reliever working in the area of treatment. I have used it for shoulder soreness and the cooling effect is almost immediate. Follow the directions and recommendations on the product. I would recommend this to my family and friends.
