Just one swipe of Bio-Freeze and I am good for hours. It has a pleasant mentholly medical odor that is pleasant to the senses. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being an avid jogger, I frequently suffer from muscle soreness and back pain from constant pavement pounding. This Biofreeze offers hands-free application directly to the skin via a roller ball and the cooling menthol formula goes on easily and quickly for fast pain relief. It is hot, it is cold, it is stingy, and it is tingly, but they all work together subtly to massage the pain away. It is an odd sensation, but a good sensation. I like that it comes in a big full 2.5 oz size roll-on bottle. This way I feel more inclined to apply liberally, making it cover more area and be more effective. It does have a very strong smell at first but that quickly dissipates. I also wish it was a longer lasting formula.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used Biofreeze for a long time. Usually it’s just the one that comes in a tube. I thought the roll on would make it easy to use and allow for me to not have to rub it in. Sadly it doesn’t come out smoothly. Rather, it’s a clumpy gel that still requires you to rub it in. The product itself is awesome and smells better than most of its competitors. I think I’ll stick to using the gel version from the original tube packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Biofreeze roll on is a swell idea. I love biofreeze for my low back when I am hurting. It allows me enough relief to fall asleep when my muscles are throbbing. Usually the problem I have is with biofreeze being all over my hands. I never get it completely off and inevitably touch my eyes. The roll on stick is great because you can biofreeze your back without getting it all over your hands. It rolls out a good bit of gel and the roller seems to move well. I can reach my back and have rolled it on my knees for pain. I would say one downside is that I find the gel still requires to be rubbed into your body sometimes. Otherwise you will have too much in one space and it won't dry well enough to put clothes over it and go. It does a nice job though with minimizing the unessessary contact with the gel and your hands.

I didn't notice much of a difference after applying it and waiting for a while. Maybe I did something wrong. I decided to give it to my dad to try it since he works in a job where he uses his back a lot and he's older than 55. He hasn't commented on it, so I'm assuming it might have worked for him.
