I remembered that my mother who was 97 passed My sister told me that they couldn't get mom to eat any until someone told her about ensure. Mom fell in love with it. She would drink it everyday. I followed her suggestion and it work for me. I still drink ensure when I feel hungry. My family told me I act like it's a milkshake. I don't think I would try to drink it with a big Mac and fries but, now when I know that I am trying too eat and my body turns against food thank God for my ensure. I should tell you that when it was suggested to me I thought (Yuck another health food that's going to taste like medicine)I was pleasantly surprised.

I have tried most of the flavors and find that vanilla suits me best. The chocolate(s) are also in my refrigerator for variety and my husband takes one of those now and then. I have always ate healthy but I did not always reach the recommendation for my age, height and weight. It helped to keep me balanced. I continued to drink Ensure when he was born because as many people know, it is a challenge being a single mother like myself and I will be honest, I did not have the chance to eat a well balanced meal and the Ensure helped me on those days. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ensure is a wonderful product. The very first time I had Ensure was in 1991 after having major surgery; I didn't have any appetite. So a family friend had purchased some for me and encourage me to drink them for meals replacements. I loved the vanilla and strawberry flavors. They were a great help to me and they still are especially when I'm on the go, just grab one out the fridge and go especially with this summer heat and for a quick shake pour in a glass and add a scope of ice cream.
