The doctors explained that my energy level would drop and that I needed the extra nutrition to help me through the treatments. I have taken a bottle or two every day and it has really helped my energy level, especially when I haven't been able to eat a lot of solid foods. It is well worth being able to function and feel like doing things one enjoys.

At approaching 80 years of age I use it as an energy supplement to enable me to involve in a two mile walk and a regular exercise program of pushups etc. Try it!

We haven't tried all of the flavors because it is a little pricey on our budget. I also wish they would make ensure in a multi-serve glass bottle to keep the nutritional value at a maximum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ensure was about the only thing I could hold down while on Tarceva. Once I was off of that drug I still drank 1/4 cup each morning. I've since upped that to 1/2 cup at breakfast and 1/2 cup at dinner. I added the dinner drink because my G.P. thought it might help me gain some much needed weight. For me, maintaining a good weight has been hard during this cancer journey.

I get a urge to sit down and try to eat a meal.Sometime my stomach won't let me , that when I reach for the ensure it help settle my problem with my stomach. She might like Pineapple/ Orange. she sometimes mixes it with milk or Pepsi for a change in taste and texture. Raspberry might also add a bit of a change in her routine
