The treatment is head and neck so it makes your mouth very sore with sores in my mouth the only thing I can drink other than water is Ensure. I am bot able to eat any solid food. I hardly ever eat breakfast, but now I drink it when I get to work and I am good to go . It may not be the "super elixer" but its close!

But the good news is that she drinks 3 or 4 of the Ensure Milk Chocolate every day. She says it tastes wonderful & feels so good going down. I am an RN with 50 years experience. Until trying Ensure she wasn't really eating. Now she is having Ensure 2-3 times a day. She loves the flavor and it keeps her full!

I also drink Ensure when I get hungry and all other foods do not look appetizing. During my last stay in the hospital when I needed some nourishment before going to sleep, I asked for Ensure. Ensure was available in the hospital. It was satisfying and helped me go to sleep.
