[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to throat restrictions and other complications from stage 4 throat cancer and treatment, I am not able to swallow anything thicker than the Original Ensure Shakes. Even blended foods are not passing my damaged epiglottis reliably. My only viable (and probably inevitable) alternative is going back to a feeding tube. I am able to hold off that day for now. I have used all the flavors, but definitely drink Coffee Latte the majority of the time.

I prefer not to chill my Ensure, which not only makes it taste even better, but also makes it a very convenient meal on the work days that are particularly hectic. I just pull it out of my desk drawer and take a brief moment to relax and enjoy my soothing, yummy treat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a full-time mom with a full-time job. I have blood sugar issues, and I will crash if I don't have frequent snacks. Ensures make it so that I never have to crash. I drink an Ensure every morning on my way to work, and I always carry an extra bottle with me, for in the event that I start to feel shaky after work. When I was pregnant, I would wake up in the middle of the night starving, and a bottle of Dark Chocolate Ensure was the only thing that could settle my tummy, and get me back to sleep. To be honest, I still wake up sometimes, but now, I go get my own Ensure, rather than sending my husband for it. ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My doctor recommended Ensure as a calorie enrichment as I have difficulty maintaining weight with Stage 4 Cancer and hyatel hernia. It has been helpful in weight stability and is a nice chocolatey snack between smaller meals. I'm sure the nutrient level is a benefit as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being lactose intolerant, dairy intolerant and slightly anemic it is a relief to have a drink that is nutritional and doesn't upset my stomach. Additionally, aside from be very tasteful, Ensure is very portable and can sustain me between meals. I love ENSURE.

At the ripe ole age of 73 I don't always have the energy to prepare meals so find my self not eating as well as I should and Ensure helps balance out my poor eating habits. It's favorable and gives me nutrition.

My mother is using your product for nutritional purposes and although it is good for that, she is never able to open the container. You are predominantly making these for elder people and they are the very ones who are having the problem. First there is an outer seal to get through and then the plastic cap has to be unscrewed to break another seal. If my mother did not live with me she would starve to death. She doesn’t have the strength to open either seal. I watch her struggle everyday to be self sufficient and tries fighting with it, but ends up having to ask someone to help.
