My stepmom mentioned ensure and from that point on, 3 months before my heart surgery, my main nourishment was strawberry ensure. It helped me believe that I was getting enough nutrition to hang in long enough to find out what was wrong with me. Now 2 years later after my open heart surgery(mitral valve replacement) with my doctor's approval, I am prescribed one Ensure every single day and it helps me maintain a nutritious lifestyle. The chocolate flavor is really rich and smooth and helps to satiate my cravings for sweets. Plus it has protein and lots of vitamins. I like to have them available for my mom so she can have something that's quick and super tasty.

I was recently in the hospital after a car accident suffering multiple broken bones. I have ensure in my fridge. The expiration date is a year from now. I shook a bottle before opening it, the seal was not broken. As I was about to take a drink I noticed an orange colored smudge on the mouth of the bottle. It is rust from the metal on the lid. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ensure makes my Easier, I use Ensure not only by it self, but I also use on milk shacks and mix it with fruit as supplemental meals. It makes my life so much easier because I elderly parents and sometimes they refuse my cooking or they prefer the Ensure. I also use it myself at work when I am too busy to eat a meal.

I have not been able to eat for months and they were trying to find out why. Now I hope they can fix it but won't know till I hill from the preferation. This has provided me with some variety of different taste to help satisfy when I get hungry. I have enjoyed the varieties and hope to be able to continue to afford them.

I enjoy the vanilla flavor and put it in my morning cereal along with blueberries, strawberries and bananas. You don't have to add sugar because the taste is sweet. I have gotten so used to this, when I run out of ensure my cereal tastes somewhat flat. When I go to buy ensure, and someone else is looking to buy it, I mention about putting it in my cereal and they always say "what a good idea, I'll try it". I usually drink one a day.

Now, that we are elderly we use Ensure on a regular basis to add vitamins to our body. When we travel I TAKE ENSURE FOR OUR LUNCH.
