[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ensure was about the only thing I could hold down while on Tarceva. Once I was off of that drug I still drank 1/4 cup each morning. I've since upped that to 1/2 cup at breakfast and 1/2 cup at dinner. I added the dinner drink because my G.P. thought it might help me gain some much needed weight. For me, maintaining a good weight has been hard during this cancer journey.

It has a little bit less sugar than ensure plus and really gives me strength, energy, and extra vitamins, minerals, and protein. I feel really good about this product as a supplement and have been using it for years. It absolutely has the best flavor and perfect texture and weight, feels and tastes like a shake. I recently went on a road trip vacation with my daughter and made sure to bring 10 days worth of ensure with me. I am 89 years old, my appetite has waned with my age. When not terribly hungry but need a little something Ensure is my go to everytime.

Love the taste - especially the Butter Pecan and Vanilla flavors - and I know I'm NOT packing on any unnecessary calories or fat!

I felt like I was drinking crushed up chalk that's had water added to it with the other brands. With Ensure, I can honestly say that I've been pleasantly surprised and have found none of that to be true. That is DEFINITELY NOT the case with Ensure. I was skeptical at first to try, but glad I did. I enjoy a bottle every morning with breakfast or on my drive doing errands. I prefer the milk chocolate, but I have tried Strawberry and enjoy that flavor as will. None of the chalky taste or terrible after taste like you have with other brands. I would highly recommend Ensure to anyone and everyone as a great part of a healthy diet. One more side note. I don't often give high marks on reviews of products, unless I truly believe they are well deserved. I get them out lightly.

So I decided to replace my regular breakfast with one Original Ensure. Energy-wise, it carries me through until lunchtime and I've tried all of the flavors and find them equally delicious.
