Love Jimmy Dean brand sausage! My family has been purchasing Jimmy Dean for years it’s our go to brand when buying pork breakfast sausage. Affordable product and carried a most local grocery stores. The regular flavor is my all time favorite flavor of Jimmy Dean sausage. A must try if you haven’t.

I used to love Jimmy Dean's sausage -- I mean I wouldn't buy any other brand. But I am so disappointed to see that MSG - Mono Sodium Glutmate is an ingredient in this sausage. I have had to stop buying other brands of Sausage because of this and now it looks like my absolute favoirte and the best tasting Sausage has joined the "flavor for cheap" fad. Not many people understand what people who are Allergic to MSG suffer through -- but it's painful and really harmful to the body when we eat some. Please reconsider taking this harmful ingredient out of your Sausage as an ingredient so people like me can purchase your sausage again. Something is noticeably different as of this year with the regular style Jimmy dean roll of sausage. When cooking on medium low heat it will burn a layer of black char on a non stick pan prompting me to buy a new non stick skillet with the very same results. I've always eaten this product and have always cooked it the same way. I know covid 19 has hurt so many companies and makes me wonder if something has changed via quality and consistency of the recipe within the this new year of 2022. Hope the needed corrections are made to once again enjoy a pleasant home cooked breakfast!

Every Sunday my child wants biscuits and gravy for breakfast. So biscuits and gravy it is with Jimmy Dean sausage. I like the flavor I like the consistency and I like but it is not too expensive. When I'm making the dressing to go with the turkey at Thanksgiving I use Jimmy Dean sausage, anything that requires sausage it is Jimmy Dean.

Sausage dip recipe: 1 roll Jimmy Dean pork sausage(the regular) 1 Philadelphia cream cheese- bar -8 oz. 1 can Rotele chopped tomatoes (mild or regular). I use only 1/3 can. Brown sausage in fry pan until no longer pink. Drain grease. (Very little grease to drain). Add cream cheese and tomatoes. Cook/stir until cheese melts. Serve warm with scoops. So easy to make. So delicious. Enjoy!

I love Jimmy Dean sausage and wouldn't use any other brand. But I have a question about the ingredients used to make it. There have been recent claims that the Jimmy Dean sausage recipe has been modified to include protein from bugs and worms. Is that true?

A package from the freezer, bought Jun 2020, had less fat and more corn syrup. Hardly any fat came off during cooking, and the corn syrup or sugar blackened the pan. Taste was bland and I had to scrub the skillet like never before. Something changed at Jimmy Dean. Go back to your recipe of 2019 and I'll be back.

I am obsessed with this sausage! This is the best sausage to use for your game day dip! I have tried other brands of sausage and this brand is the only one that I love! I would definitely recommend this product to use in Rotel dip or just as a breakfast item.

I use jimmy dean sausage ifnim going too make.sausage, and I dont like spicy but I got the medium hot sausage, it's not that hot but the flavor is amazing. I use this in a lot of recipes. It's very good quality sausage. I just choose to do breakfast or whatever with jimmy dean. I've always preferred them.
