Well I've recently found a far better breakfast sausage now that I can't eat your's anymore! I used to "Only" buy your product but just can't get over the "NASTY, Thick greasy tongue" it leaves me with anyone more! Not too mention all the grease in the pan and shrinkage of the sausage! Like I said, I found one a little more expensive. But it's WELL worth the little extra, and I don't have to go running for two glasses of milk to cut through the pasty film to get it off of my tongue! It seems to me that corporate GREED always gets the nod!

My daughter is not a picky eater except for when it comes to breakfast sausage. She will eat no other brand except Jimmy Dean Regular Breakfast sausage. Once, when our grocery store ran out, I bought an alternate brand of sausage. My daughter took one bite, spit it out, and refused to eat it. Even though I hid the wrapper from her, she knew it wasn't her Jimmy Dean sausage. Even though she is now grown up, Jimmy Dean is the only brand we eat. It has become a tradition and a breakfast staple in our home. It's Jimmy Dean or nothing.

This is really goo breakfast sausage. I like this variety as well as the link option. They are both really enjoyable. I prefer this one though when I am making breakfast sandwiches or making spaghetti. I like to mix 2 parts ground beef and 1 part sausage and I use this brand. It isn't very expensive and you can get it hot also. GREAT for meatballs!

I love grabbing the Jimmy Dean sausage to add into my spaghetti sauce for Spaghetti. It adds really great flavor to the sauce. I really prefer this over hamburger or just plain sauce for my spaghetti. The flavor is really great. This product can be pricey but every once in a while it is definitely worth it. 

We bought this on our last trip to Sams a couple weeks ago. We went to use it tonight for supper and upon opening it, it stunk so bad that we had to throw it out. The date on the roll was December 23rd, so we are still a week before the date. Disappointing that we spent the money on it. Not sure why it was bad, the reviews on it have been good otherwise.

This is a delicious sausage. Not too fatty! It is just too spicy for me. Burns the back of my throat for a while afterward. This is with it being in a country gravy (milk, flour, salt). No need to add extra pepper. I’m not sure what the spices are as they aren’t listed on the ingredients.

I have eaten JD Sausage since its invent decades ago. Over the last 8 months regardless of where I buy it is salty. What happened? Why did the recipe change?? Sadly, I have stopped buying it but will try every few months and see if it is back to normal.

This used to be the best sausage sold in Southern California. I don't know what happened, but the recipe has changed. The sausage is crumbly, and it's dry. Something obviously has been removed from the recipe. I guess I'll now get my sausage shipped from down south where they know good sausage

Jimmy Dean used to be less salty than I've had recently -- thus the 4-star review.  I've tried a couple others but this has been my favorite go-to breakfast sausage.  I'm always on the look out for others to try and keep going back to this brand.  Wish they'd cut back on the salt.  Other than that, fresh pork and seasoning taste.

When I have my days off and the weekends my mom sometimes wakes up in the morning cook some eggs and bacon and sausage and when I smell a Jimmy Dean I go who are normal and making sauces I’ll go running downstairs I’ll be the first one with a plate I highly recommend this product to anybody who likes sausage
