Living in Louisiana, we make dirty rice for most family meals. All of the family loves it and although we make a large pot full, we never seem to have any leftover. Jimmy Dean's Pork Sausage is the only sausage I will use to make my dirty rice. It is a definite ingredient for this recipe.

I bought the Jimmy Dean sausage for a guy trip that my husband cooks breakfast for everyone. Everyone enjoyed the sausage with biscuits and gravy or biscuits with jelly. When I buy Jimmy Dean for our home, I usually make the sausage ball recipe but make them about the size of a large biscuit. After cooking, I freeze them and we have a quick heat up breakfast option.

PERFECT mix for wild game. I buy this by the case and mix 50/50 with elk and deer burger. Absolutely the easiest and tastiest burger you'll ever have. Works in burgers, stews, casseroles -- use exactly like beef burger and you'll be amazed. Better than 100% beef burger!

A breakfast regular and sometimes a luncheon treat. Very convenient size roll. Make sure role is very cold before slicing. Use sharp serated knife, cut through plastic covering (remove after cutting up the roll). Our cute-sy name for the resulting thick cuts: Hockey Pucks.

This is the very best tasting sausage out there. I have occasionally purchased other brands of sausage but always come back to Jimmy Dean sausage, especially when you buy at Sam's Club. This is such a great price for this size of sausage and I have never come across this 2 pound sausage at any other store. Treat yourself to this premium product at a bargain price. Your family will thank you.
