This pizza oven is great! I mean it is not a wood fire oven that gives you all the yummy smoke flavor that comes along with it but it is aan excellent way to make fabulous pies in your kitchen instead of spending enormous amounts on ordering for delivery or going out. Be aware if you are doing a frozen pie let it unthaw first or make sure you have preheated up to a full 800 degrees to start then put it in because otherwise it will not be done in 6 minutes more like 26 and you will be disappointed in your results. You have been warned about this common sense thing so don't come in here and give this product a bad review for it after this because its not the product its you!!!

We bought this as a hostess gift for a friend, who said they wanted one. We had it all set up to make pizzas Sunday, and what a disaster! First, it would not even get to 800 degrees, only 300 degrees, and then it stopped completely. Couldn't get it hot. Then we thought okay lets try something else, we put a pizza on and it MELTED..melted onto the stone. Couldn't get the pizza off, even after we made sure the dough was floured, so it wouldn't stick. What a mess. We went through this for 40 minutes. We felt horrible, because the gift was a flop. We ended up making pizzas in the oven. I was so hoping this would be a great gift, and then I was going to buy one for us. No way!!!

Frozen pizza has to be thawed first. Thick crust gets burnt. I was duped by a FB ad for this. They showed a frozen pizza going on and coming out perfect in 5 minutes.. false advertising! When the frozen didn’t work we tried our own homemade and it rose up and stuck to the lid. Very disappointing. Also gets very VERY hot, I didn’t feel safe using it on my counter. I put it on my stove. The temperature wasn’t anything to do with my review more of a warning.
