Good freezer, arrived damaged.

I was really disappointed when my freezer arrived with multiple dents. I contacted Sam's customer service and did receive a partial credit for the dents. The dents, however, are not affecting the performance, as I am having no issues thus far. The freezer works great, I would have given 5 stars had it not arrived with all the dents. I appreciate Sam's understanding and giving the partial credit.

Recent Problem

Purchased in Nov 2024. Appeared to be working fine until I noticed a small amount of water at the bottom of the freezer under the compressor. I'm not sure if this type of water leak is normal or if there is an issue with the compressor. Could not find anything under troubleshooting.

Hello FL bound, we appreciate your feedback and would like to apologize for your recent experience with the Frigidaire Gallery 5 Cu. Ft. Chest Freezer. We pride ourselves on our high-quality standards and regret that our product did not live up to your expectations. The cooling lines from the compressor to the evaporator coils in the freezer walls get extremely cold. If the freezer is located in a humid location, humid air may condense into a small amount of water droplets on the refrigeration line. This is normal and your freezer is not defective.

Very cheaply made, not an efficiency freezer

Not very efficient, runs constantly, even though its almost full of frozen meat.

Bad luck or bad unit.

The first unit was bad. So I had to get another unit and the second one is working fine so far.
