It has weight, the sharpness and durability we love and expect out of a knife set. Also, they look really smart looking!!

They are replacing a very cheap set that I had to purchase at the time. For Christmas, my husband asked me what I wanted, and I had NO reservations about asking him for a good set of knives! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how absolutely sharp the knives are. And they are beautiful. The only thing that was less than optimal was the size of the knife block. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting. The hazards of ordering online versus by sight in a store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. The knives seem very well made. Not as heavy as other Henckels knives I've used in the past. I love the self sharpening block. Time will tell if it helps keep them sharp longer. Overall pleased with them so far.

Love the self sharpening feature, just make sure you lightly drag each knife on the bottom of its slot to get a clean sharpen. From starting with low cost knives from faberware to cusinart and now to Henckels it’s definitely an upgrade in quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First nicest set I’ve gotten myself. They’re great weight and the handles are nice and comfy. I cook A Lot and am so in love with this knife set. The block is bulky but not distracting and very beautifully constructed. The knife slots are labeled and yes they are sharp and I love the self sharpening deal.

I hate when you buy a set of knives and you have to purchase more seperatly. This is a complete set. I love all the knives but especially the prep knife. That is a shape i hadnt used before. Its great when you just need to chop something up but dont feel like pulling out the big one. The german steel is top notch and the self sharpening block keeps them always ready. I also like that it comes with 8 steak knives instead of 4 so there is enough for company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks like a nice set, other product dirty I guess from the country made, blades little flimsy on some, they definitely need sharpened, figured they would be like razors from manufacture, but no. Over all for a 20 piece set it was a good price. Sure they will work for my needs.
