[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been waiting to find a set that I love as much as this one! Every single Knife is great. To look over all is very professional and fits very nicely in a whole kitchen. I would highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knives look sharp, pun intended. They flow great with other items in our kitchen. The knife block is awesome and has the metal plate to protect the block from stabs when you go to return the knife and miss. Has built in sharpening but honestly not sure how I feel about that. Shouldn't the knives just stay sharp? I imagine I will never know how long it truly can stay sharp as it sharpens/hones everything when you return it to the block. However the steak knives do not sharpen so time will tell. Over all the knife set is complete and looks fantastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this knife set. It is really high quality. The knives are super sharp and sturdy unlike my last set. I never knew that a self sharpening block existed and I can’t imagine how I ever lived without it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first during the opening of the box, I was not expecting the knives to be scattered about in their own box. I expected each to be secured in a place of some sort for each knife and maybe a description without having to look to the main box for the type of each knife to identify it’s place in the block. Not being a “professional chef” some knives have names I’m not completely familiar with. None the less, it’s all figured out and we’re impressed with their feel and balance. Hopefully the sharpening feature will keep them nice and sharp for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are by far and away the best set of knobs I've ever owned. They are super sharp, and have stayed sharp regardless of what I've cut with them. The 20 piece set is perfect for any at home chef with a variety of blades for any job big or small!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been asking for a knife set for many years. Every set I've ever had has either been a worn out hand-me-down or a mix and match. I opened this set up last night and was flabbergasted by the quality craftsmanship. Each blade, despite feeling very light, is brilliantly assembled and unbelievably sharp and sliced through a multitude of vegetables and meats as I prepared dinner. I did not want to have to perpetually sharpen my blades and so I opted for the self-sharpening block that sharpens as you remove and replace in its slot. The look and feel of the block is just another glaring example of the attention to detail. The wood is extremely solid and so there is no tipping this over without really trying, the stainless steel top will resist the rust from the moisture in the kitchen, and each slot is labeled, so EVERYBODY knows where to put blades back where they go. I am so happy I spent the extra money to get the J.A. Henckles set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Professional performance and looks that meet my expectations. Love the triple-riveted handles that fit in my hand so well. I am upgrading from a smaller more basic set and love the additional knife choices. The knife block does take up a quite a bit more real estate on my counter than my previous block set. Hoping the additional knives offset the loss of prep area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate food prep! I didn’t realize my 15 year old knives were the reason it was taking me so long. These knives are awesome and make me excited to get in the kitchen again. Cutting sweet potatoes is easy now, and I’ve realized I CAN cut a tomato and onion evenly! Best purchase I’ve made all year!

This block has it all! The knives are made with high quality German steel. The best thing about the block is it is self sharpening. Just pull the knife out and its sharpened and every slot has a picture of what knife goes where. Steak knives included too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The self sharpening block is beautiful, I love the angle of it it looks very sleek and super fancy with the stainless steel top. I haven’t had a chance to try the knives yet but when compared to my Chicago cutlery set they looked equal if not better than weight and thickness
