I didn’t take the time to sharpen my knifes so I needed something that would do it for me. I can’t believe I waited so long to upgrade. I absolutely love this set, it has everything I need and steak knives for 8.

We have had them for a few months now and are very happy with them. We never put them in the dishwasher and haven’t had any issues with durability or sharpness. My only con is that the knife block is huge! It sticks very far out on our counter, but you do get the benefit of the block providing the self sharpening feature, so we’ve adapted. Overall, definitely recommend!

We love to cook but don’t consider ourselves even close to chefs, and have already surpassed getting our family’s moneys worth out of this quality knife set. We think it’ll last our lifetime! While it may not be the same as sharpening them yourself, everything stays sharp and it looks great. The labels are helpful for me to know which knife goes where and what they should be used to do. Overall very happy with my set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 20-year-old Cuisinart knife set for this set. The self-sharpening block caught my attention. I enjoy the sharpening attribute. However, I would like the block to be shorter. I have a large kitchen and the block looks bulky on the counter. It's almost taller than my coffee maker and half the length of the counter.

Which is a draw back if you have limited counter space. Other than that the knives are great.

Got them out of the box, gave them a wash, and had to try a couple of them. The weight is amazing. And these are sharp. Had no problems at all cutting up some fruit for my kiddos. Love the block for them too, very elegant. So happy that I purchased these.
