[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to replace my 15 yr old Henckels knife block. Although, it is still a great set. This set fit all my needs. Beautiful wood block, and all the knives I need, and scissors! They are super sharp, and the self-sharpening feature is excellent. grazie mille!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have amassed a fair collection of knives for our kitchen ove the years. But, with this set we finally have a knife for every need and they all come from a MATCHING set. The blades are all exceptionally sharp and the self-sharpening block helps maintaining these knives significantly easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this set of knives! They are all very sharp, and look amazing in my kitchen. They are replacing a very cheap set that I had to purchase at the time. For Christmas, my husband asked me what I wanted, and I had NO reservations about asking him for a good set of knives! Well done, honey!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had Henkles knives fir a few years and have loved them. I always bought them one at a time each trip to Germany. My company offered these as a 10 thank you gift so I definitely chose these over other options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are the best I've ever used and had. I went to culinary school and these knives are better than the ones we had to buy for school. I'm so excited to use these and with the built in sharpener it so cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives came out of the box sharp. I washed and situated in knife block, and at dinner carved with ease a roasted baked chicken. If there is a complaint, this knife block is huge but the selection of knives is wonderful! I happily will give up counter space for these knives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am truly happy with this purchase. The knives are so sharp they cut so efficiently without much effort. They sharpen by themselves just being inserted into the knife block. The price I paid was well worth it. Glad I found a very good knife set that I know will last and will be for keeps!

I hate when you buy a set of knives and you have to purchase more seperatly. This is a complete set. I love all the knives but especially the prep knife. That is a shape i hadnt used before. Its great when you just need to chop something up but dont feel like pulling out the big one. The german steel is top notch and the self sharpening block keeps them always ready. I also like that it comes with 8 steak knives instead of 4 so there is enough for company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The self sharpening block is phenomenal. I always hand wash to keep the knives in the best shape though they are also dishwasher safe. I hand washed them for the first time very lightly and it cut up my sponge up like crazy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Henckels knives when I worked in the restaurant business and this set lives up to their name. The knives are very sharp and designed to be easy to handle. I love the self sharpening feature it allows me to keep my knives sharp with out any effort on my part. I highly recommend this set of knives.
