[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best that I’ve had in a long time the comfort of the handles is excellent along with the sharpness of the set. As a cook it is important that I have a good knife set and don’t have to worry about dullness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first during the opening of the box, I was not expecting the knives to be scattered about in their own box. I expected each to be secured in a place of some sort for each knife and maybe a description without having to look to the main box for the type of each knife to identify it’s place in the block. Not being a “professional chef” some knives have names I’m not completely familiar with. None the less, it’s all figured out and we’re impressed with their feel and balance. Hopefully the sharpening feature will keep them nice and sharp for years to come.

It’s similar to not knowing what you can’t see until you get a new pair of glasses. These knives are so sharp and food prep is effortless. My only complaint is the size of the wood block. It demands a considerable amount of counter space.

Some of the slots are too big and the positions make it look like a cheap set that wasn’t well thought out. I also don’t like the size of the block. There’s a lot of extra wood that isn’t needed .

The block did have a knick in it upon receiving it which was a little disappointing but they work amazing and are the sharpest knives I’ve ever used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this for second home. Living up to their reputation, this knife block set has all the knives you need in your kitchen. Sharp as can be and feels great in my hand. Every time I pull a straight edge knife, it gets sharpened and it goes back in the block ready for the next time. As you can see, the serrated knife slots have no ceramic in the bay but the straight edge bays do. The only drawback is that my counter really isn't big enough for the block!

I have only had it a short time but it is just so wonderful to have this set of sharp knives that will not dull overnight in my home. The block is handsome and big since it houses 19 pieces in it and the stainless top is perfect for cleaning easily. When we upgraded to this base model made by Henkel we had no idea just how lovely it would be. Thank you Henkel for such a sweet set up!
