[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really love the knives, the scissors seem a little on the weak side in my mind but the knives overall are very nice I had anticipated thicker Steel on the blades but these things are balanced and well weighted so everything is fine they are Sharp and ready to use the self sharpening block seems like it works pretty good I definitely would recommend and I would buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality item. The block itself is a gorgeous piece of wood that looks really lovely in our kitchen. The knives are super sharp, I slightly tapped my knuckle on the edge of one while cleaning them and instantly blood started gushing. Just from a little tap. They cut through poultry like butter. We’re very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We didn’t know how bad our old knives were until we upgraded to the 20 piece Henckels set. They’re amazing and there is a knife for any occasion. The self sharpening feature is a must have. We fully expect these knives to last us a lifetime.

It’s sharp but not the ‘cut paper at first swipe’ sharp. The feel and weight is solid in your hand, it looks solid as well. My favorite feature might well be the self-sharpening block, we’ll see. Overall, happy with the purchase and hope to use it for years to come.

My cooking skills (and number of people I cook for) have grown significantly, and I hated having to sharpen my knives periodically. I would go a while each time and just suffer through using dull knives. Now I have the larger collection I always wanted, and they literally sharpen themselves! This is my dream!

My daughter is a great cook and commented about how much she enjoyed using them and how they easily cut through fruits, meats, poultry, and more!!

I haven’t had a chance to try the knives yet but when compared to my Chicago cutlery set they looked equal if not better than weight and thickness
