I've had the same set of knives for about 20 years and have had them professionally sharpened over the years but they just were tired. Got these and love the self sharpening block. The handles are a little duller than I thought but ut isn't a bad thing. I just love the way the cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very well built set. There are a few things I would change if could. The block itself is really huge and takes up lots of counter space for one. The other would be the inclusion of more santoku style knives.

They sharpen by themselves just being inserted into the knife block. The price I paid was well worth it. Glad I found a very good knife set that I know will last and will be for keeps!

The handle fits perfectly in my hand and the cut is phenomenal. The self-sharpening block is a game changer!! The knives are always ready to go and cut like they didn’t Hebrides day out of the box. Superior quality that is built to last!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slices tomatoes into thin slices like butter. Huge block but it looks nice so that's okay. The kitchen shears don't open all the way, so not as good for cleaning. The knives also light enough for ease of use without being tiring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knives look sharp, pun intended. They flow great with other items in our kitchen. The knife block is awesome and has the metal plate to protect the block from stabs when you go to return the knife and miss. Has built in sharpening but honestly not sure how I feel about that. Shouldn't the knives just stay sharp? I imagine I will never know how long it truly can stay sharp as it sharpens/hones everything when you return it to the block. However the steak knives do not sharpen so time will tell. Over all the knife set is complete and looks fantastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife set is amazing, yes the block is larger but there are big knives in it so it's to be expected, love the self sharpening feature will save so much time, I Def recommend this product! When I received the knife set one of the steak knives was cracked on the handle but I will be contacting customer service to take care of that issue.

The many different knives types are great for a versatile kitchen. The only issue may be the size of the block itself which may pose an issue if counter space is a problem
