[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been looking for long lasting knives for all uses. The positive reviews for Henckels has lead us in their direction. We love there is a knife for every use. Our block has labels so we know the best use of each knife and where to replace it. Each knife (except the serrated & steak knives) have a sharpener so we always have sharp knives. The only thing I dislike is the amount of space it takes up on the counter. We are super pleased with these knives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am truly happy with this purchase. The knives are so sharp they cut so efficiently without much effort. They sharpen by themselves just being inserted into the knife block. The price I paid was well worth it. Glad I found a very good knife set that I know will last and will be for keeps!

I hate when you buy a set of knives and you have to purchase more seperatly. This is a complete set. I love all the knives but especially the prep knife. That is a shape i hadnt used before. Its great when you just need to chop something up but dont feel like pulling out the big one. The german steel is top notch and the self sharpening block keeps them always ready. I also like that it comes with 8 steak knives instead of 4 so there is enough for company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to replace my 15 yr old Henckels knife block. Although, it is still a great set. This set fit all my needs. Beautiful wood block, and all the knives I need, and scissors! They are super sharp, and the self-sharpening feature is excellent. grazie mille!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knife set is fantastic. It is a self sharpening block set that really works. I love the wood block the knives are in. The knifes cut really well and it set looks really sharp in my kitchen. I got rid of all the old knives and make sure I take really good care of these ones. I hope to have many years of using them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are the best I've ever used and had. I went to culinary school and these knives are better than the ones we had to buy for school. I'm so excited to use these and with the built in sharpener it so cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the sturdiness and sharpness of the knives. I also love that it is a complete set, It has all the knives that a home cook or a professional cook will need. Simply the best. You will not regret buying it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives came out of the box sharp. I washed and situated in knife block, and at dinner carved with ease a roasted baked chicken. If there is a complaint, this knife block is huge but the selection of knives is wonderful! I happily will give up counter space for these knives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a good set of knives all my life. Finally I've received the best ever! These knives are light and easy to handle. I love the self-sharpening block which makes the sharp knives always ready to use. The assortment is truly complete. Can't rave enough about them. So happy I received this gift from my hubby for Christmas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great first impression with the knives and the self sharpening capabilities. The overall block takes up a lot of real estate on the counter. Would prefer a smaller profile but would have to sacrifice the amount of knives in the set.
