[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just opened them and have only used one knife, which is very sharp and nice. The handles are different than the knives I had been using, so that will take some getting used to. The knives are a bit loose in the block - I expected them to be tighter, but that might be because of the sharpener. I got a great deal and my old knives were in bad shape, so I am sure this will be an improvement.

Mine was a gift which I have to return because some kind of bugs eat the side of block and looked terrible! They did send another set that looks Great!! Now i have to find a place to Print My return slip off email?? Then carry to a FedEx place to return ,Very Much trouble, I would think the return slip could have came with product and FedEx pick up if possible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the self sharpening block. If your not a pro at sharpening this is the right stuff. I dont luke how elongated the block is. It takes up lots of counter space. I with they angled the block higher to save counter space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying the Henckels knives. I love that I do not have to manually sharpen with each use. The sharpening mechanism within the block takes care of that. Plus, the Henckles looks lovely with my kitchen decor.

This block has it all! The knives are made with high quality German steel. The best thing about the block is it is self sharpening. Just pull the knife out and its sharpened and every slot has a picture of what knife goes where. Steak knives included too.
