This sensor did nothing when I sprayed cleaner or air freshener near it. Still showed 199 percent clean air. It did react to blowing smoke into it. The air freshener pack smell is not noticeable unless I have my nose right at it. I'm not sure it works well as animal smells are not cleaned. The carbon should be cleaning animal smells. My blue air one removes odors whereas this shark one doesn't seem to. I do like the size and quietness of it. My house is less than 1400 sq ft so it should be cleaning my whole house but it doesn't seem to be fresh even though the air quality shows 100 percent.

I've had it for a few weeks and it works well. Getting the hepa filter out to take the bag off was a little difficult the first time. The smell neutralizing could be a little better but over all I am very happy with my purchase. It filter the smoke out of the kitchen from cooking on my cast iron really quickly. The pet smell has definitely improved , we own 3 Rottweilers.

Ship time was amazing does exactly as it says it would do is super silent efficient and definitely cleans the air for me! I'm going through a severe allergen problem currently and having to turn my house upside down and this purifier has been my best friend through all of it:)

I don't know what it is with some of these bad reviews I think its just people dont know what there doing. Mine works great when it wilk be at 100% and once you start cooking once that smell gets to it. It starts to go down. And sometimes it wont read anymore that means you just have to take out the 2 side fliter panels and clean then and then hold the reset button on the top and then it will read it again. And I took out the big filter to check it out and wow was it so dirty we only need using it since Feb 2025 that a good sign you know its working really good. So I would listen to these people with the bad reviews. I definitely will be buying atleast 3 more the smaller ones for the big rooms and one big one with the other room

Love it so much that I ordered another. It's super quiet and I feel like it genuinely cleans the air. I like seeing the air quality reading on it at 100%. I know it works because we have ours set up near the kitchen and anytime we cook we notice the air quality reading drop some but soon after it gets right back up to 100%

We've tried a few different brands including Oreck and Blueair. This Shark outdoes all of the other models/brands we tried by a longshot. We have two cats, it contains any litterbox smell including the dust from the litter. Post-cooking smells disappear within hours, even strong smells from frying bacon. I would absolutely recommend this purifier over other options.

Got this to replace an old HnyWl that was outdated. Just pulling it out of the box i knew it was a powerhouse. I was surprised that it immediately read 100% and was concerned ab accuracy. However when we had something overflow in the oven, causing some smoke, it immediately went to 0 and you could see it slowly come back as the air got cleaner. Also, love that it doesn't take 3/4 filters that have to be replaced immediately after installing. Also, I am a huge Shark/Ninja fan and slowly replacing everything we can with their products. Haven't made a bad decision on that to date!

Purchased 2. I originally placed one upstairs and one downstairs living area. However they both were reading at 60%. So I placed both downstairs which is approximately 1200sqft ( which one purifier should work for) opposite ends of the house. One in kitchen one in living room. One is constantly at 70% and the other 64%. It has not reached 100% one time in 24 hours. On auto mode running at max. I don't know if I got defective ones or what is going on but this is a giant waste of money. I have one small dog. I cooked bacon last night around 7pm and I can still smell the lingering smell so this purifier did absolutely nothing. And my allergies are still off the charts even with both units running on the same floor. I have auto immune diseases and immune compromised and so is my young son. Having purifiers that work is essential for our well being. I was enticed with the never change filter with hopes of saving some money on filter replacements of our previous purifiers.

I got this a few weeks ago to help with issues we have with some smoke from our pellet stove on startup or if food gets over cooked to preclude the smoke alarms going off.. It seems to be ok but we still have a smell so it doesnt get all smells out of air.. Maybe it will work better with allergens or pet hair but for smoke smells of pretty much any type its not that great to us.We cant use automatic because it never speeds up enough to do any good. It always seems to show good air quality, so we have to use manual 95% of the time. So by using manual on higher speeds, we will have to replace the filter far sooner than claimed on videos or manuals. Be aware of that.

Was really hoping this would solve our problems so we bought 2 units. Been running for about 3 weeks now and no change in air quality. Have noticed fine dust building up on the air purifier. Only noticed the air quality dropped when I burned pecans on the stove. Other than that it's stays on 100% even with 2 bigs dogs in the house.
