I haven't bought this since before Covid. Back then I bought it individually at my grocer's. Each sausage was 16 oz. Now I'm getting each sausage 25% smaller for basically the same price I was paying for a 16 oz package. This is shrinkflation. Reducing the size of the item without changing the price. I believe that when the size of an item is reduced they should point that out on the packaging. Not all shoppers closely read labels and they should. I gave this item 4 stars four quality and 1 star for packaging and value. That averages out to be 3 stars.

I cut this up as an alternative for breakfast sausage and my kids love it. Even though when you slice it up for breakfast food, it doesn't feed a lot of people, but it's overwhelmingly good. The ingredients are easy to read, and they taste so good easy to chew through the casing.

We've been using Hillshire farm sausages for years! Just never knew Sam's Club had it for sale as a bundle! We will definitely be buying it here in the future. You cannot beat the price! The sausage is delicious. We like it with BBQ sauce or just thrown in a pot of pinto beans! Yummy good either way!

They say it's made with quality beef and spices so why does it need MSG?

I always use this in my seafood boils! Best sausage for the price, great taste, and reliable. I don't know much about the ingredients but it's never raised my blood pressure too high! Maybe it's lower in sodium compared to other brands 🤷🏽‍♀️
