I’ve been using TurboTax Business every year since 1996 for my two small businesses, and I still trust it completely. After our very first year, we hired a CPA to do our taxes. He was nice and really tried to save us money, but he kept putting things in gray areas, shifting contributions into categories that didn’t quite feel right to us. We weren’t comfortable with it, so we made an appointment at the local IRS office, went over everything with them, and fixed the returns ourselves that year. Ever since then, I’ve done both businesses’ taxes on my own with TurboTax Business. I like that it asks clear questions step by step, fills out all the right forms, and stays on the safe side of the rules. It gives me peace of mind knowing we’re reporting everything correctly and not taking chances. The program handles everything my companies need: different business types, the usual deductions, industry-specific tips, and even audit help if I ever need it. Most important, I know it follows the IRS guidelines properly. I’ve recommended TurboTax Business to other small business owners who just want to get their taxes done right without worrying. After almost 30 years, it’s still the tool I count on every tax season.

Very confused to use, not user friendly at all. There is a Farming issue bug needs to be fixed. Many people have the same problem, the system assumed the business is a FARM business, not sure what information the user provided caused this assumption, and there is way to tell the system otherwise, NO flag to un-check this assumption or guide to remove this problem. TurboTax really need to fix this issue.

Luckily I had last year's return to find the differences. I'm not sure why every year it' something new that doesn't work as you'd expect. This year it was telling me my EOY values in my balance sheet needed to be zero. Then my state and federal income amounts were out of balance because even though it applied changes to the California total, it didn't add that amount to the adjustments worksheet.

I used TurboTax Premier and TurboTax Business to file my taxes and my mothers taxes. She died in May of 2025. I filed her final return on Premier and had to purchase Business to file Form 1041. She had some 1099's that had dividends that had to be reported on her final return and her Estate return. IRS says in that situation I should report the full value of the 1099 and then subtract what should be reported on Form 1041. Your software doesn't allow a negative number to be entered. Can that be looked into?

As a complex family trust, trustee, I found it difficult to use the downloded software. Also, I was not informed that I could not e-file until after you requested the Declaration to e-file. I had to rush to the post office to get the return submitted in time.

The process is easy to navighate but at times it is a pretty intimidating for the average tax payer. Was able to get it completed when I reviewed my draft before filing it was hard to reconcile the draft with the final for filing. I admittedly may have requested two different option between the review coy and final.

The system keep trying to push me to the online system. However, it would not use my work from the desktop program. most frustrating. I also had to reenter my work when it could not find the file that had been started. I lost an hour from that. Also, i purchased audit defense then when i filed the taxes on line, it offers me the Advantage program which include free audit defense. What a pile of.... Otherwise it is a good program.

This program has turned into a real stinker. It's constantly trying to upsell me for product enhancements that are irrelevant and unnecessary to my needs. The interface is clunky and good luck trying to do simple tasks (such as print out your state tax return for mailing). This used to be a great tool and now it's an onerous burden. TurboTax and Intuit need to quit spending millions (probably billions) by now lobbying Congress to make citizens' and corporate taxes difficult and expensive.

This is my 3rd year using TurboTax Desktop Software. Each year has not gotten easier lol! (I second guess myself & have constant interruptions so it makes it a little more challenging for me haha) This year I did make I believe 3 calls for help and was surprised but pleased to find each representative to be very positive, patient, understanding, & made sure they went above & beyond to get my answers or complete the task I was having trouble with.

I use to generate Schedule K1s. Pretty easy except the software told me I hit my 5 filing limit when I only had completed 4. And it would not allow me to use actual dates that were later than the IRS due dates for my estimated tax pre payment for 2025. Also. had to go through 2 rounds of error checking where different errors were called out.
