i can't believe you can't import stock trades into a trust return. for that reason alone i'd never use this software again. why make it a requirement to have it as a desktop version. if this is an attempt to force people to use quickbooks its done just the opposite for me. the instructions are clunky and the k1 instructions at the end are a joke

Found several errors in calculation. Required extension form for state return when I checked (multiple times) that no extra time was needed. Errors when no entry and a zero mysteriously appeared and could not be deleted. Even your review form has issues - AI assumes Interface and Support when I try to check Features . . . .

Cumbersome to move around in. Difficult to find specific items to edit. Missing ablity to import 1099's from financial institutions (at least I coudn't find it). This is critical for trust returns. The Help function is woefully incomplete or uniintelligible. Inability to exchange which state I want to do returns for, forcing me to purchase the one I want and ignore the default one.

I have used Turbotax for years for business and personal returns. In the business program this year, I was unable to print ( or view in official tax return for filing) the Form 8825 (rental income) and spent a long time with tech support. After installing the Acrobat Reader, the problem was corrected. I think the Form 8825 should have be available for printing in the Turbotax Viewer, as in the past, along with all the other forms that were available. I see where other users have had this problem as well. Please fix it!

I use to generate Schedule K1s. Pretty easy except the software told me I hit my 5 filing limit when I only had completed 4. And it would not allow me to use actual dates that were later than the IRS due dates for my estimated tax pre payment for 2025. Also. had to go through 2 rounds of error checking where different errors were called out.

I used TurboTax Business for a family Trust filing, and it works well. The software is more extensive than I need for a simple Trust filing, so I wish there was a cheaper option just for Trusts. I'd also wish TurboTax Business could allow import of financial info from my Investment Firm. You need to hunt for the Estimated Tax calc for the current tax year since TT fills in info without asking you. Also, Business did not come with state filing software (Utah) so I had to complete the state filing manually.

My business return was incomplete - was missing asset sale dates and the error check did not highlight it. The proceeds did not show up in the Schedule K either. I only noticed this when I was preparing to file the individual returns. I had to amend the returns and Turbo Tax does not support e-filing amended returns.

Business turbo tax is poor for trust filing. Too expensive, cannot do New Mexico electronic forms,(even though this is supposed to be included), and it does not show the amount owed or to be refunded at the top of the screen like regular turbo tax (you have to go to forms to see what the amount is!) I will look for better software next year

As a complex family trust, trustee, I found it difficult to use the downloded software. Also, I was not informed that I could not e-file until after you requested the Declaration to e-file. I had to rush to the post office to get the return submitted in time.

This is my 3rd year using TurboTax Desktop Software. Each year has not gotten easier lol! (I second guess myself & have constant interruptions so it makes it a little more challenging for me haha) This year I did make I believe 3 calls for help and was surprised but pleased to find each representative to be very positive, patient, understanding, & made sure they went above & beyond to get my answers or complete the task I was having trouble with.
