I love using Turbotax. But I think it is absolutely ridiculous that the outrageously high priced estate and trust program doesn't include the ability to complete a personal return as well. When spending that much you would think you could include the standard returns as well.

I've used turbo tax online to file for years and finally got the software because of a great discount. The fact that the online account is not linked to the software is very frustrating and not efficient. Reentering all the information that was stored online and tedious and time consuming.

I wish Pennsylvania would allow a PA 20S to e-file through TurboTax. I wish Philadelphia would allow a BIRT (business income and receipts tax) e-filing through TurboTax. For personal income tax, I wish Philadelphia would allow a school income tax (tax on investment income) e-filing through TurboTax.

I have always used Turbo Tax Desktop as a bookkeeper and now as business owner. It was perfect, a total partnership. However, Intuit wanted to bill for more by doing online, which may be complicated or simple, depending on user. But since Intuit is promoting the change for continuous billing, Intuit has been very invasive with discouraging Deskstop by sending invasive upgrade notifications it is so annoying, it made me consider other deskstop bookkeeping system.

No means by which to connect my Quickbooks Online information to file on the Turbotax desktop, had to complete the filing information on turbotax online and then transfer manually to desktop. Called customer service, no way to just submit through turbotax online without being double charged. Called multiple times and tried to escalate, "no one had the authority to help me".

I completed my taxes and they disappeared. I don't know why. My state software would not load. I was not able to log into my account - there should be a forgot password option. I'm pretty sure I used the right password but I could not log in. It was quite frustrating. I've used the product for years without issue. Hoping this is an anomoly

For the first time in the 22 years that I have used TurboTax Business to produce my 1065 filing, TurboTax was disappointing. TurboTax did not import the partnership information from the previous year. I reran it several times. I used different copies of the saved TurboTax files. None of them imported correctly, so I manually input all of the partnership details, just as if it were the first time. This failure to import the previous year TurboTax 1065 was time-consuming and a disappointment.

Overall, I like the product. However, I had one partnership with an ownership change and the K-1 would nto correctly show the exiting owner with zero percent ownership at year end. So it showed the one remaining partner correctly with 100% but the old owner still showed at 50% ending ownership. I did correctly enter his ending ownership at 0% after the sale and the worksheet shows that, it just didn't transfer to the K-1.

Always a great application to use for my taxes for my business. The quick forms make a lot of the tax confusion non existent. I do like that in the past when I needed support I could ask for help via the tools at hand. This year I've got it down and understand the app more without needing help.

I have used TurboTax Biz for many years to prepare returns for a couple of Trusts. It always does a Great Job, and I have not been audited. My two complaints are: 1. Having to pay SO MUCH for the very simple features use for simple Trust returns. Simple Trust returns should be part of PREMIER, and 2. That it is only available for Windows. I'm a Mac user and have to buy additional virtual machine software to be able to TurboTax BIZ
