I was happy with the Business software until I had to amend a Form 1065. Amending it was easy enough, but it left me with no direction as to where to mail Form 1065X when the previous 1065 was e-filed. It should have allowed me to e-file, and if that was not an option, it should have listed addresses.

Was very difficult. I've used TT for 15+ years for my personal and LLC. This is my first time as an S Corp. I have another S-Corp that I use an account for, which I wish I did instead. I needed a LOT of help from Google AI. The personal version is fleshed out well, but the Business version needed a lot of external knowledge.

Overall, I like the product. However, I had one partnership with an ownership change and the K-1 would nto correctly show the exiting owner with zero percent ownership at year end. So it showed the one remaining partner correctly with 100% but the old owner still showed at 50% ending ownership. I did correctly enter his ending ownership at 0% after the sale and the worksheet shows that, it just didn't transfer to the K-1.

i had to call support to figure out how to purchase the same product I have purchased for 20 years! took over 2 hrs to get download for my business taxes because there were no direct buttons only questions that lead me down rabbit holes with no end!!! actual software and customer service rep Seth in Texas were wonderful as always but if the download isnt easier I will go with another company after all these years. All you pushed was the expert tax preparer for $445 instead of the $190 self guided version. you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

Unable to choose "Qualified Disability Trust" other than in Forms mode. When Foreign Tax Credit is appropriate, have to correct the amount on ln 18 in Form 1116 since it pulls an incorrect amount. The flag points to the correct amount on 1041, but the inserted amount is wrong since it uses the wrong exemption amount. I.e. Form 1116 isn't communicating correctly with For 541.

Turbotax works. Barely, but it gets the job done. It would be nice if the business software ran on Macs. I end up needing a PC every 6 or 7 years just to do taxes. Also, there is a lot of manual entry required, but at least you can overwrite where needed.

Bearly usable still even at 2025. You still have to know 100% of the tax code to know if you've filled in everything correctly for your business. Took me googling to find where to jump to fiing an extension. Wasted 1/2 hr just on that simle step. You can jump to "other" and at the end is extention... :(

I will not be able to e file the MA tax return, but it was required to be e filed. If there is any information missing, Turbo Tax should indicate the missing information. I really think the software need to be updated. I did e file them in prior years many times and never had any problems.

I hate the loop when your think you are going to e-File (I had to use AI Perplexity to find out how to get out of the loop). Also, when you are ready to e-File, if also reflex Do You Want to Print, or something like that. When you click it tells you you cannot print. Instead you have to click e-File and then print. Both of the above are very maddening.
