apparently, the IRS has changed the forms for filling an S Corp tax, and Turbo Tax is still using fir 1120S, then it says it's all correct and as soon as you e-file it bounces back and turbo tax doesn't know how to correct the issue and tell you to contact the IRS directly. The IRS will tell you to send in by regular mail. But then Turbo Tax doesn't let you e-file the NJ state because the Federal got rejected.....total mess

It's fine. It's a bit insane that they discount the desktop version instead of just making a decent and more affordable online version for business filings. Frustrations include having to update the software literally every time I used it in the past three days to complete our taxes and file. It was fine, but that's the best I can say.

Great Solution for S Corporation filing with Turbotax Business. It was hard for me to locate and download the software. I had to use a 3rd party and it was not my preference. The software is fairly easy to use but there could be more explanation on different subjects for people that are not as familiar with tax code. I had to use a lot of outside resources to understand what choices to make and what entries to make in preparing my taxes.

TurboTax Business works well. I've been using for 13 years - I am also experienced with other professional software packages for Business returns. TurboTax is quite good in its functionality and accuracy. The balance sheet interface could be a bit more flexible. I would prefer that MN could be e-filed also.

I think TurboTax needs to stop procrastinating (15 years) and have a compatible TurboTax for Business for a MAC. I have used "band aides" so long it is the most frustrating to use Parallel or a notebook. Inefficient. Also, roll certain information over from prior year like Schedule B-1 for direct and indirect owners. Finally, FED Info Sheet. Once date to sign return, it is locked in. It cannot change. This is nothing new I have said i five years in a row. Why can you not fix it?

Overall, I like the product. However, I had one partnership with an ownership change and the K-1 would nto correctly show the exiting owner with zero percent ownership at year end. So it showed the one remaining partner correctly with 100% but the old owner still showed at 50% ending ownership. I did correctly enter his ending ownership at 0% after the sale and the worksheet shows that, it just didn't transfer to the K-1.

It was a really broken experience trying to fill out Arizona State taxes. I got into a loop that never ended trying to correct things in order to file. I guess it wasn't very clear what needed to be done. At the end of the day, if I had no revenue in the state, I needed to use the Sales Factor Only Apportionment Formula. Trying to zero out revenue with the Standard formula would never let me finish and file. And unfortunately, I couldn't see how to effectively change this election until I restarted filing the Arizona taxes. Which wouldn't have been so bad if I knew that was what I needed to do.

Accuracy: The business program seems like it had a flaw as we could not get it to efile because of partnership questions that did not line up correctly with what was asked. The agent you had was wonderful and stayed with it going thru multiple options for at least 3 hours before we found one clicked box that made sense when asked but was the problem with it not efiling. Hale to Michelle in Alabama for staying with it. I think you should get with her and find out why it took so long to find the solution. 6 hours trying to get it fixed today is too long for an easy business. Otherwise I love Turbo Tax and now onto individual return.

Turbo Tax Business for Estate filing was disappointing. It did not allow electronic transfer of doc from banks or investment firms like it does in personal version. It is not as easy to follow nor does it have needed explanations along the way. I would not recommend TT Business for estate filings Nor does it have the require state filing software. For the price, should have went to professional

Turbo Tax used to be designed for those of us who needed help understanding how to file properly. This program was very confusing and did not help answer questions at all. I pay money for it so I don't have to Google questions. There were parts of our taxes that were unclear when using this product. Parts were very confusing with little explanation available.
