Utilized turbo tax business for first time for LLC filling. It was straight forward and simple. I did Federal and bought State as well. I used chatgpt Go version to clear some doubts for question as some Q will be tricky and their language is not easily understandable. One particular thing about I didn't like was the way Turbo tax s/w was forcing to take some deduction as a my LLC was eligible due to first year. When asked same Q to chatgpt and other gpts it was not a good idea and rather take regular deduction which will spread into 5 years.

I was not able to see the amount owed until the software was filing the Return. You had me buy a state return - is not required- when I went to print it was just a few lines - no forms, nothing to turn in! Expensive lesson to confirm something I already knew.

Federal product is fine, no issues. State Product (CT 1065 return) was a waste of money that wasn't able to be used. Specifically, the software doesn't seem to support the CT-PET filing which required me to use CT's online portal to file the return in lieu of Turbotax.

I purchased TurboTax Business Desktop 2025 because I had to do a trust filing. When I got to the state part, it could not download the Oklahoma Fiduciary Income Tax Form. I was determined I was using Windows 10 which is apparently not compatible. I don't recall being told about that when I bought it online. I was able to successfully install on Windows 10 and was almost done 4/14/26 when I ran into that error. Your install should have stopped me from installing. Nevertheless, I upgraded to Windows 11 on 4/15/26 but the exact same error persisted. (see case 1776288457810). The issue was never resolved and I'm having to file the state return manually and late.

I had issues with my CT state tax processing for AlphaPrep that is designated a pass thru entity. I need to go directly to the state of CT to correctly calculate the allocation and PE tax credit. You software incorrectly stated that my payments to the state should be refunded

I use turbo tax business for my 1041 trust returns. 2 huge problems. - need to use PC instead of my apple computer. - unlike turbo tax personal 1040 - i cannot connect to my brokerage and download transactions. Need to put in manually is terrible. why can't you add this feature?

TurboTax is quite an archaic piece of software. It feels like I'm back in the 1990s. It does not learn from my old returns. I have to manually enter my K1 -- it cannot OCR my PDF K1s that I received from partnerships that I've invested in. It provides no advice on when there's an error about what might be the cause of the error. When I go check to see what the cause of the error is using ChatGPT, I can't go back and edit the error because TurboTax won't let me even in forms mode.

Cumbersome to move around in. Difficult to find specific items to edit. Missing ablity to import 1099's from financial institutions (at least I coudn't find it). This is critical for trust returns. The Help function is woefully incomplete or uniintelligible. Inability to exchange which state I want to do returns for, forcing me to purchase the one I want and ignore the default one.

Turbo Tax took much of the scariness out of this process! The Interface is so user friendly and the extra support options helped reassure me of the Accuracy of my business return. I found the Features of the desktop version provided the Compatibility for everything I needed to accomplish.
