I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it to be the easiest software to use available. I do use it for my business and my family's personal tax returns. When I pay for the licenses, I don't appreciate being told I have reached my limit of 5 returns, when I have only filed 3 personal 1040s and 1 business return. I haven't even filed my own personal tax return yet & I better be able to use the license I bought or my review won't be so great!

The Turbotax Business software is very "clunky" in comparison to your other releases like Home and Business which I also purchased again this year. On top of that, there is an inherent bug in the software that did not accurately transfer rental property depreciation from the Federal to the State filing. Spending over $200 for the combined software package, I expect it to work without intervention and override.

The business product interface is lacking when dealing with year-end brokerage statements. Also, in the estimated payment section, the software was hard-checking boxes I dd not want checked. I had to often go into FORMS and consult outside AI chats to get through the process.

I have used TurboTax Premier and TurboTax Business for over 15 years. This year's TurboTax Business for Windows Desktop is a really bad product. It will not allow me to e-file my 1041 tax returns. This issue was first identified on Intuit's community forum on January 31. It is still a problem March 13. I spent 1.5 hours on line with tier 1 support - they had me do all the things I had read about doing on Gemini AI (and had already done). I detached and re-attached form 8453-FE. I uninstalled and re-installed the software. I downloaded the "super patch" update from Intuit's site. Then I had a call back from a supervisor who seemed to know even less than the Tier 1 support. She finally opened a technical ticket. The Tier 1 support suggested I could re-type all my data into the online version (nope!) or file paper returns (nope! The IRS has lost my paper return before). Such a huge disappointment that the software cannot do the number one thing it is supposed to do - allow me to complete and e-file my taxes. Horrible product this year! I hope to hear back "within 24-48 hours" on this issue. Such a disappointment. I do not recooment this product

The interface is intuitive and easy to use. It would review the numbers to ensure accuracy across all forms. The features were also addition to the filing process. Accuracy. Compatibility with my desktop were all highlights. The support from this platform was immense.

TurboTax Business 2025 does not handle the following situations: 1. The depreciation deduction in step-by-step mode does not handle the property was originally owned and placed in service for rental use by an LLC member before 2025. After the LLC member transferred the ownership to the LLC in January 2025, the property was contributed to JZW LLC in a non-taxable transaction under IRC §721 in exchange for a partnership interest. 2. The software does not allow to add a plain text page to explain that the real estate asset was contributed to the partnership in Jan. 2025. It was originally and placed in service in /2013 by member. Prior depreciation was $ddddd. Continued over original 27.5-year life.

I hate that Turbo Tax requires me to purchase the Business package simply because I need to file a 1041 because my Dad left me monies in a Trust. I have one IRA and a house in the Trust. Frustrating. I also have to purchase Premier package since I have investments for my 1040 filings. I wish Trust filing was an option in Premier.

Business deduction categories are not as complete in Home and Business software. This year I had to file an amended return because I forgot to enter 50% of business meal expenses. The instructions for mailing an amended return were not correct. They continued to be the same as for e-filing the Federal return. On the state return there was not a separate form to send to the state to indicate it was an amended return and again the instructions were the same as for the initial filing.

My business taxes went well, although it was unclear about the process when a state doesn't accept e-file (Colorado). TurboTax leads you through e-filing the federal taxes, and then says you are done. You need to go back and manually print the state taxes despite the app saying you are done... it's a little confusing.

I enjoy using Turbo Tax for my S-Corp Business tax return. This is the third year I've used it and find the step by step instruction & interfaces to be helpful and pretty intuitive. Where it can get complicated is pulling down and populating state specific forms. You have to know where to go and how to calculate certain items, or else you may miss certain requirements/deductions, etc.. But overall, I find it to be a great value for my small business needs each year and would recommend especially for the ease and convenience of e-filing.
