The most challenging part of accomplishing my taxes is simply downloading TurboTax Software, it took me 90 minutes to download and had to engage one of you customer service experts, why is this so difficult? The taxes are easy, downloading is PAINFUL!

Makes completing the impossible task of understanding the US Tax code bearable. The amount of time it takes to file taxes each year is ludicrous. Thank you Turbo Tax for assisting for all the years in t past. going forward though, I'll be using a tax attorney.

Turbo Tax-- took me over an hour to download to my desktop after I already paid with assistance from customer support. It seems you can't switch to the app if you've been using the desktop version previously (you can but you need to hand enter all the information again). I'll guessing they will stop supporting desktop versions soon and I'll need to do this eventually. Once I was in the guided walk through is nowhere near as helpful for small business as it is for personal filing. I am doubting my accuracy and hoping forth best. Feeling pressured to keep using Turbo tax because there are not lot of other options especially if you Quickbooks as well. FYI Audit support is moneymaking scam, I didn't buy it this time but have used it in the past and still needed to hire my own independent accountant to represent me on a simple matter since the Quickbooks audit support person was very qualified. I ad to pay to have the mess they made cleaned up.

I am an experienced tax preparer who has been using turbo tax business for a long time. The product was easy to use, but I found the purchase so cumbersome that I ended up purchasing the federal version twice and I still cannot figure out how to get reimbursed for the second purchase. The product is too much of a black box and it is difficult to check for errors. You have to start all over again to check for input errors.

This year product pricing is confusing - one business software for K1 generation for LLC and requires separate downloads at an additional fee. Higher fee $55 - for CA - for an LLC you force us to buy LLC and partnership forms - nickle and diming fees- costs are getting high for us to continue to use Turbo tax

Turbotax has been great for us for many years. It allows you to work through and better understand the forms and how they work. It helps to ensure accuracy, and allows you to easily port year over year information. You can upload directly from QuickBooks as well.

Product isn't poor - what is poor is that I have to buy a Home & Business version of TurboTax to do my personal return and then spend an additional $200 to by a desktop Business version of TurboTax to file for my father's estate of which I am the Executor. It was fine the first year when there was something to it, but the last couple of years I've used funds in his estate account to pay for home insurance as my brother and I continue to go through his house. It's ridiculous to pay $200 to file an estate return which has nothing but a couple of hundred dollars in interest income and nothing more. An estate return this simple should be include with the Home and Business version I already purchased rather than me needing to buy two separate versions of TurboTax each year.

Overall a good experience for my first time using TurboTax. My only issue I had was when I had to go back and adjust numbers, I kept getting errors in boxes where there was no longer a value. This was for a partnership 1065 return. It was very annoying, and I tried going through all the prompts again multiple times, and still gave errors. I ended up having to start over from scratch. For how simple my return was and the price of the software, I didn't expect to have issues like this.

My taxes aren't even complicated and this software wasn't able to appropriately guide me. I had to end up overriding and customizing some things on my own. This software is way overpriced for what you get. It appears as if they have leaned into dev with AI and it shows, the quality of the product has degraded. Some very basic information wasn't carried over from my last year's tax return. And as I type this review into this text field my characters keep on getting changed. Utterly bottom tier product made by a bottom tier company. Intuit Lobbyists need to be axed.

E-filing in California does NOT work. There is an extensive thread (https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/turbotax-business-validation-error-code-54-so-we-cannot-efile/00/3748119) on your own website documenting the problem that I and many others experienced. I ended up printing and physically mailing my state return because the problem was never resolved. I'm very disappointed with TurboTax for Business, considering how much it costs.
