I will not be able to e file the MA tax return, but it was required to be e filed. If there is any information missing, Turbo Tax should indicate the missing information. I really think the software need to be updated. I did e file them in prior years many times and never had any problems.

I used it for a trust, it worked well enough, but it would be nice to be able to import 1099's from brokerages, banks, etc., like the personal version does. Also it doesn't show the "running" refund or payment do like the personal version does, you don't see it unless you look at the form view or when you are filing. Also despite having a capital loss carryover the previous year for the state, I was never asked or prompted in anyway about it this year. I had to find where to enter it on the form view. If I didn't know to look for it, I would have had to pay a lot more on the trust's state taxes.

How is it possible that a multi-billion dollar company is not able to: 1) Offer Turbo Tax Business Desktop for Trusts with a MAC APPLE HARDWARE/SOFTWARE OPTION!!! 2) Offer the ability to be able to IMPORT FINANCIAL INFORMATION FROM MAJOR BROKERAGE FIRMS!!! EVERY TRUST IS HELD BY A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION SO YOU NEED THE ABILITY TO SIMPLY IMPORT THIS COMPLEX INFORMATION!!!

I wish Pennsylvania would allow a PA 20S to e-file through TurboTax. I wish Philadelphia would allow a BIRT (business income and receipts tax) e-filing through TurboTax. For personal income tax, I wish Philadelphia would allow a school income tax (tax on investment income) e-filing through TurboTax.

Using Business for 10+ years to file Federal and NY state returns for a trust. Mostly things work fine and it sure beats doing it by hand. Things that need improvement are: - some things on the NY form are left blank and you get vague instructions to find and fill in data that the program and the forms don't seem to be included EX: on IT-205 line C "amount from Form IT-205A Schedule 1, line 10, column a" but IT-205-A, although it's referenced 15 times, is not included anywhere I can find. - other aspects of the NY state processing cause me to doubt how thoroughly it's been checked/tested.

I have used TurboTax for many years but recently moved from a PC to a Mac. The Home version for the Mac is available but the Business version is not. This year I was able to use my old PC and tablet to do my business taxes but I would really like a Mac version. I am not sure what to do about next year and will have to either keep my old PC around or find an alternative software product. Please make a version for the Mac.

The changes for 2025 were somewhat a little difficult to understand where to input business income received reported on a 1099 that is considered ordinary income. There was no option for a 1099 information to be input. It had to be added under OTHER with just the name of the payor.

This were some hiccups in understanding what needed to be entered, especially when transfering content from the year before and also getting everything on the balance sheet to match. there should be perhaps multiple places to take you to the distribution page. Some of the windows weres small it was hard to review the information it was asking on the return, perhaps having a expanding window option. Also, make it easier to show a breakout of all the deductions entered on one screen so it makes it easier to compare with accounting incomestatements. Also, i don't quite understand why it charged me $55 to do a fl state return when florida doesn't require a return (hopefully, i will get a credit back)

This product makes doing the tax return (941) for either estate or trust accounts. There are explanations for various boxes that help you to choose the correct answer, including comments that something is not common. I am fortunate to have found this product, rather than paying a CPA to do these simple returns.

This is the third year that I am not able to e-file my 1041 form because of an error that cannot be fixed. My 1099 says that the bond premium is "0", but Turbo Tax says it cannot be 0. I change the 0 to 1, but that does not fix the error. Having to mail in my return is very time-consuming.
