I finally deciede to move from paid preparer to using turbo tax. I had been putting it off becasue I was sure I could never "Decode" all the financial jargon and tax codes. I was hugely suprised to find out how easy Turbo Tax expained each section thru its "Where do I find this?" hyperlinks embedded everywhere! What a huge game chager. I was able to pull up my .pdf from last years taxes and compare it to the info I needed for this years taxes. Confidence level went thru the roof! Thanks Turbo Tax!

The desktop business package was very easy to use. Our filing was not very complicated, but had to get it done and I was able to do it fairly easily and confidently using this package. Our only problem was that we are filing a 1041 for an estate that owns a vacation rental property in a foreign country. The system did not have an option for me to identify the address of the rental property as a foreign address. This creates an error message and would not allow me to efile. I am mailing in my forms, but I hope this is something that can be fixed in future editions. Also, OH requires a state return for a 1041, but it is not available in the package.

Went very smoothly. Most of my questions were handled within the program and when I did need extra help i was able to talk with someone on the phone fairly quickly. (10 min) Knocked you down 1 star because I'm still irritated that your Home and Business Software doesn't handle the K-1's for my LLC and I have to buy the Business version as well.

Very confusing error checking interface: most of the errors it found would not allow me to make the correction, and/or did not tell me what the error was. For example, it cited the name as an error. There was NO error. It was the same as last year's return that it imported. I tried to override the error, but could not. Ditto for he beneficiary percentages not adding to 100%. I did not enter percentages - all the distribution went to 1 of 5 beneficiaries.

I've always used TurboTax. Last year I decided to try a top competitor product, and the UI experience was horrendous. It made me miss the deadline, and I had to pay a fine. Needless to say, I'm back to TurboTax this year, and I love it. It has even improved since the last time I used it. Simple, easy, and effective!

The only thing I would suggest is a tighter cross-over from federal to state tax numbers. I bought the Pa. state package and had to autofill my income into the state form. I recognize state and federal tax law differences can make this difficult so If autofill is impossible from federal then walk us through a PA exclusive interview. Don't let it to me to figure out. That's a little scary.

Was very difficult. I've used TT for 15+ years for my personal and LLC. This is my first time as an S Corp. I have another S-Corp that I use an account for, which I wish I did instead. I needed a LOT of help from Google AI. The personal version is fleshed out well, but the Business version needed a lot of external knowledge.

i had a great experience with support, thankfully a company who actually gives a phone number, and answers the phone!, the tech I had was super helpful, and answered all that she could, and then found another person with more clout to continue the process... In the end they could not help entirely my situation. but that didn't matter, the support was enough to make me continue purchasing the software.

I know I'm wasting my time writing this as I know you're not going to do anything about it but I'm continually bugged and amazed that you don't publish TurboTax Business to MACOS. Like you don't believe that most people use iPhones and Macos as well as one system. Every office I go into has macos machines in it. In fact I hardly see any Windows machines anymore unless large corporate offices which I don't believe is your target customer.

Used Turbo Tax for Decades. This year there was a glitch in how Turbo tax Business treated prior year depreciation. My man on phone support stayed late and on the case. It ended up needing a fix at the software level. He called me back when the program was ready to be updated. A-1 5-star service.
