Not good enough experience. There are no options in the Step-by-Step mode and in the Forms mode for distributing real estate rental property from LLC to its members. Also, there are options for continuing depreciation schedule for the property transferred from LLC1 to LLC2 owned by the same members with the same ownership percentage.

I have used Turbo Tax for years. This is the first time I have had an issue. I entered figures for Schedule D and then when reviewing my inputs at a later date to ensure I was ready to file I found the figures missing. I did this multiple times and got very frustrated. The figures were minor so I pressed on to completion.

I used Turbo Tax Business for the first time. While I was nervous filing on my own, the interface and step by step instruction helped me feel confident with filing for my business tax return. Some things I would suggest is to have a feature of defining certain fields - I had to google a few sections to see what I was supposed to include. Overall, a great program, and can definitely see it being a useful tool once my business is more robust with deductions etc.

I hoped it would be easier than typing into the forms manually. It is marginally easier, but there's not nearly as much support as I expected. There are so many places where I was asked "do you need to attach form XXX?" or "are you going to take this credit?" with minimal context provided. I mean - if I already know what all the forms and credits are and which ones apply to me, why wouldn't I just save the money and fill out the forms by hand? Also - there's an ERROR in the NC state form that causes the returns to fail review every time, and it's not correctable by the user. Based on the online discussions, the error has been there since at least the 2024 version. So happy I paid extra for the state form so that it could fail review every time, making it impossible for me to know if there were actually any legitimate concerns with the final return. Actually, after writing this, I feel like 2 stars might be overly generous. Very disappointing.

I have to file for a small LLC (partnership). The Federal software does a good job and is easy to execute. I also have to file for the state of Oregon, with some out of state Members. The state of Oregon software is very poor for my purposes. It completely misses the forms necessary to file for out of state members. It doesn't warn the user about the necessity for these form, and they aren't included with the program. You have to go to the state website, fill them out and print them.

Have used the TurboTax Business product for years to prepare relatively simple partnership tax returns. The product can use some improvement in how to reflect transfers of interests in the partnership. The input forms require some trial and error to create correct partner K-1s and keep the ownership percentages in balance when a change in partners occurs.

TurboTax Business made filing my company’s taxes surprisingly simple. The step-by-step guidance, clear explanations, and solid error checks saved me time and stress. It helped me feel confident everything was accurate and fully optimized for deductions.

It was easy to prepare the Federal Form 1120S, but assets didn't flow through to the NJ state return. I called Turbo Tax. A nice lady emailed me instructions to fix this issue, but that didn't work. Then she sent instructions to manually add the assets, but the program wouldn't allow manual entry. After 3 hours of trying I gave up and will file the NJ CBT-100S on NJ's web site. I want my $55 back for the state return.

The TurboTax Business -Desktop is the one I used every year. It is easy to use with all features that is compatibility is great and match those with the QuickBooks numbers. Its accuracy is great. The interface makes it easy to go through and follow. Great support whenever needed.

Overall, it handled the taxes just fine. The prompts address most situations that the vast majority of taxpayers will face. But an incredibly annoying omission is that for some text fields, it will not tell you there is a problem, nor what the problem is. But it will go round and round not letting you move away until you "fix" something.
