The business product interface is lacking when dealing with year-end brokerage statements. Also, in the estimated payment section, the software was hard-checking boxes I dd not want checked. I had to often go into FORMS and consult outside AI chats to get through the process.

I've been using TurboTax's Business edition for over 15 years. It has discontinued FREE (included with the software) tax help from a tax expert. The step-by-step no longer asks about certain topics (e.g. adding business assets). The software has minimal guidance, when TurboTax offers a link to "explain this".

Certain things are difficult such as downloading current tax year. I have a problem every year. It is not cler or intuitive as to ow to get ths done. I was on line with tech support and was disconnected so I went to troubleshooting and it had a simple link to fix a different issue I was having.

It's ridiculous that you don't include Form 172 (for carryforward losses) in the forms auto-generated for TurboTax Business. And if you're not going to include it, it's obscene that you don't let us attach a hand-filled out form and still e-file. You allow for the Fiduciary efile attachment. Why not allow a Form 172 attachment? Especially when the dialog tells you that you need to look for it in "other forms."

This version of TurboTax is not as friendly or intuitive as online versions. I wish it would give more thorough descriptions of things when you're trying to figure out if an item, purchase, etc falls under a specific category. I wish it used less tax or government jargon, or at least explained it better. The program also initially had an error. It would not let me add a partner to a partnership. The directions said to hit Add, Edit or Done, but there were no buttons on the entire screen besides Back or Done.

Overall, it handled the taxes just fine. The prompts address most situations that the vast majority of taxpayers will face. But an incredibly annoying omission is that for some text fields, it will not tell you there is a problem, nor what the problem is. But it will go round and round not letting you move away until you "fix" something.

There seems to be a software glitch in Turbo Tax Business. When attempting to e-file, the program keeps asking me to attach a document related to charitable contributions, which i had none. when proceeding to download the necessary pdf document, it was for a change of address form, not related to any charitable contribution. I had neither a charitable contribution nor a change of address. The program would not let me e-file until I attached some additional document related to charitable contributions or change of address, neither of which i had.

Accuracy - terrible, have to wait until the final day to make sure all the updates are applied, so that there are correct numbers. Had to contact Turbo Tax for a grossly wrong calculation in early to mid February, specifically applying income tax rates to capital gains. One would expect that by mid February, or open to filing, all calculations would be tested, verified, and released.

I first tried the Turbotax Business online.....got thru all of my taxes, got ready to pay; then was only presented with th Turbotax Business with Expert Advise 2025 version, for $359.....I didn't use or need any expert advise; but was told only the Desktop version gives the option of NO expert advice....and the tax worksheets I had filled out wouldn't transfer over desktop! So I had to purchase the desktop version, download on my computer, then REDO entire tax entries.....

Business turbo tax is poor for trust filing. Too expensive, cannot do New Mexico electronic forms,(even though this is supposed to be included), and it does not show the amount owed or to be refunded at the top of the screen like regular turbo tax (you have to go to forms to see what the amount is!) I will look for better software next year
