Form 1041 Trust does not generate a Schedule F or any Forms required for Schedule F in easy answer or the form drop down menu. Schedule F, Form 4562 Depreciation and Asset Entry are only available under View, Forms, Schedule F. Then corrections have to be made from the previous year form.

I used the online business version for 2024 for the first time and didn't realize it wouldn't be compatible with the 2025 desktop version that I bought this year so I had to start from scratch with entering info. There was no way to save the 2024 data file from the online version for import so I started the 2025 return online to import 2024 data and then saved that file to my computer but it wouldn't open in the desktop version which was frustrating. Lots of mystery errors just like last year. If I answer the all the questions asked, there is no reason for errors and then the errors have no explanations and won't let you change the entry anyway so what is the point. Like, why is it asking me to enter the business name on review??? I also had to print out a form, sign, and scan it to e-file which was ridiculous that there was no option for an electronic signature with the desktop version. All resources must be directed to the online version.

Need to provide more information for those of us filing estate income taxes. Also, I would like to see more features that are specific to Federal employees that are retired. For example, TSP and OPM distributions and payments. The RMD questions don't really apply to TSP distributions. Why should i even have to state why the RMD was not taken if the retiree died before the end of the year? Also, since Turbotax knows what state I live in, it shouldn't even have the state income tax questions if my state doesn't have an income tax. It looks like AI could make the software a lot smarter and easier to use.

This year I was again disappointed by TurboTax. I have used Turbo Tax Business for 2 years, Form 1041, for a trust filing. I can only file Federal tax forms. I want to file Ohio forms also, but Turbo Tax does not support the State of Ohio for form 1041. please include Ohio filings on future versions of the business package.

I will no longer use or recommend your software after you crippled the software to not install on Windows 10 EVEN though Microsoft allows for additional support for Windows 10. How much did Microsoft pay to cripple your software for Windows 10?

I need the Desktop version of TurboTax because I can import QuickBooks Desktop. The online versions do not allow this. Intuit's sales push to online apps is pointless for small businesses if the transfer of book keeping data to TurboTax is unavailable in the online apps. It is incredible that the two main income sources withing the same company are so stove piped the teams don't work together.

My first year using turbo tax business. Questions could be explained a bit better for the novice. I actually used Chat GPT to explain things in turbo tax when I wasn't sure. I have great difficulty and frustration using any support tools that I am aware of.
