Should import or remember more from previous year's return along with info fields such as account numbers, year when S-Corp established, etc. Basically anything that is repeatedly asked year after year should be picked up from last year's return and allowing user to over write if needed.

The program is excellent and the signing and filing experience is smoother this year, although it says you cannot e-file Michigan Fiduciary Returns, but then did it. My only gripe is that it is expensive to get TurboTax Business for just filing a trust fidicuary return and it is strange to download for free the Michigan Single Business Tax return, but charge $53 to get the Michitgan Fiduciary Return. The Michigan Fiduciary Return should be included in the initial price.

Hard to jump to section needed. Use to be able to use Help or Search and Jump To that section, but cannot do that any more. Please put it back in. How can it keep needing software updates into the summer and fall? Poor user experience. Convoluted process.

There were two errors in the software: Schedule G.Line 1 under "Other Information" for the question "Did the estate receive tax-exempt income" was answered Yes, with a contradictory amount of $ 0. There was no tax-exempt income recoreded. The Yes answer could not be manually changed to No. On the 1099-INT Worksheet, I would get an error message (when checking for errors during the final review) that said the Market Discount (Box 10) could not be zero or less than zero. My 1099-INT shows zero for any Market Discount. In order to be able to file electronically, I had to change this to $1.

I am unhappy with your product for multiple reasons. First, Your desktop does not work with your online quickbooks. honestly that is ridiculous and extrremely hard to work with. You seriously need to fix that. Second, calling into get help, I got different levels of competency and very incorrect help. After 3 people, I finally talked with someone I thought actually knew what they were talking about and offered some good help. Third: on Form 1065, "Total partners liab is not equal to total liabilities. Im supposed to attach a reconciliation per form instructions." There are no instructions, no forms, no nothing to help me. I don't know why the liabilities aren't equal, but no help to fix it. In the end, I don't think you have a good product for this level of taxes. You should just stick with simple tax forms or get really good at the difficult stuff. Thats where we need help anyway. And quickbooks quality has gone way down. I am looking for other options going forward.

I had used Desktop version for 2023 business taxed. While doing 2024 taxes, I just found out that I need not have paid $800 california LLC tax for my LLC since it was formed in 2023 when AB85 was in effect. I would have expected Turbotax to take care of this! Will not be recommending this software to anyone, nor will I be using this for any other business tax uses anymore.

First, even though we were tricked into using Quickbooks Online for our record keeping, there is STILL not an easy way to move data over for completing taxes .... no excuse for this. Second, Intuit does not support filing WV State Taxes electronically .... this is ridiculous at this point. We hopefully will not be using your product much longer.

I like Turbo Tax with how the program is laid out and pretty straightforward. However there is one thing that bugs me and that is you want to charge me $55 extra for filing the state form. This comes as a surprise, and I don’t like surprises when it comes to money. Please just lay your cards all on the table right from the get go!

I appreciate your software and have no difficulty using it; however, your limitation of providing only Windows based products for TT for Business has me looking to move elsewhere for next year. I maintain a decade old machine for the single use of your product and I'm sick to death of the waste of time and effort it requires.

I have been using TurboTax Business every year since it was introduced: originally all Forms covered, in recent years only Form 1065. I realize the forms are complicated and TurboTax tries hard, but there are always several mistakes or omissions. This year was much worse. (1) TurboTax carried over the wrong amounts from my 2023 return; (2)it would not save my file until a live expert in TT support spent 40 minutes unblocking the program; (3)it would not carry over the amounts entered in the interview to the forms; (4)it actually changed a correction I made on the form to the default value in the interview--and printed the return that way; (5) it claimed to be unable to print PDFs of the K-1s, so I had to print them and mail them to the many, many partners. I actually had to prepare the entire Form 1065 and CO106 three times before I had a copy free of TurboTax errors and could submit them.
