It would be helpful if the balance sheet building and other depreciable assets plus the accumulated depreciation were calculated by the software. There are those small businesses like mine that would appreciate having TurboTax Business available for Apple. Many have switched to Apple and I think you are missing a market. Overall I am very pleased with Turbo tax.

had a problem with the K-1's filling in the section L "Partner's Capital Account Analysis" section. Worked with Intuit helpdesk for almost an hour before I got a workaround. The problem in the software was reported, but not resolved before I filed. Fortunately the workaround allowed me to proceed. Intuit needs to work on passing through ALL required information into the K-1 forms.

It took me three hours to download TT Business without the disc. I had to update Windows and all kinds of stuff. Quite frustrating. Then when I went to transmit returns. It was insisting that do to an option I made that another form needed filled out. TT needed to fill out this form, not me. And the balance sheet was out of balance (which I'm not required to file because my business is worth less than one million dollars) so I had to manipulate figures on that form. Again, TT should do this.

This is a good product but for trusts, the questions can be lacking and additional info will not help you unless you are well versed in complex trusts. It will not give you guidance on potential ways to optimize tax rates. You MAY have this flexibility depending on distributions and the number of beneficiaries. I have used this product to do my trust return(s) for ten years.

Your product SUCKS! First you made me buy the the super expensive online Turbotax for Business, which didn't work. I got your tech support to then send me the desktop version. Which worked a little bit better, but still can't fill out a K-1 correctly. Going to finish my return by hand and recommend to everyone that they don't waste their time with TERRIBLE TurboTax.

Help seems to be missing from the more complex subjects. I expect more than just to be referred to the IRS Form instructions (otherwise, what's the point here, just up-selling me professional help). TaxAct seems to have better embedded help. Last year I used TaxAct, this year I thought to try TurboTax Business. I may go back to TaxAct for 2025 Consumer product (Deluxe, Premier, etc) allow itemization of costs to be entered in a simple form that opens, and does the math accordingly. It let's you indefinitely add items and their value, which gets summed automatically (e.g., for adding up expenses). That feature is missing here.

Notable issues. It lacks a Mac-compatible version, forcing Mac users to rely on virtualization software or a Windows machine. Additionally, the software struggles with complex tax scenarios, often abruptly redirecting users to IRS forms without adequate guidance. If your business taxes are anything beyond straightforward, or if you use a Mac, consider exploring alternative tax solutions.

I had a horrible experience with this product. I spent a lot of money just to do this online. The federal program was completed and I then went into the Ohio return. When completed, the federal was filed fine but the Ohio return was not found in the file. I was on the phone for hours with various support personnel. They ended up sending me a desktop version. I had to re-enter all my federal information by hand because the tax.file would not come into the program. The two program are different and handle some line items different so I have a small descrepancy. I had paid for the state return originally. Then I had to pay for it again to be able to load the Ohio program. I have submitted refund requests for all amounts. I could have completed hand forms spending less time.

Bad experience your format is wrong why I need to ANSWER questions how good your company is when I have not finished my work yet. You're stopping the process I lost the file, and I never print the file and when I got back you ARE telling me that I need to amend? the form? I have all morning doing one stupid W-2 form THANK YOU MUCH !!!! [about 20 years using your program]
