Had me manually do a schedule J it said I needed. Hours later after doing it, I find out it was not required for the type of trust I had. This was based on information TT had and should have known. Also touch screen and scroll bar functionality in the program is a nightmare.

This is very expensive and has the least capabilities of other versions. Home come I can't import my documents. State efiling did not work and I had to file in paper. I have to use this to file a trust return. Seems like it should be a stand alone less costly option from your company.

Turbo Tax Business downloaded version does not allow you to import any 1099's or other investment information or attach any financial institution statements. That made doing my Federal 1041 tax return much more time consuming. I was also unable to do a New Mexico FID-1 tax return on Turbo Tax, so I was forced to do that manually - again much more time consuming. The customer service person I spoke to was unable to tell me whether the online version would allow importing documents but told me that I was unable to switch to the online version without paying again and was unable to refund my money for the downloaded version. I feel like this software is grossly overpriced for what it does, and Intuit's customer service is pretty poor.

The product is good, but woe be unto you if for some reason you have to move your data file to a different drive when you are in the middle of working on your tax return. TurboTax cannot cope with that. It will try to open the file with the version of TurboTax for your personal 1040, or it will claim it can't understand the file if you open the program first and browse to the file in the program. It's a nightmare. Once you find a way to trick it into opening the moved file, you'll be okay. But woe be unto you until then.

I was trying to use the business Turbotax for doing my mom's estate/trust income tax. the software was missing many key estate related questions/inputs as well as it did not provide proper uploading and finalizing for the tax return (the error messages referenced wrong problems and were inconsistent). It is nowhere near as helpful/user friendly as the regular personal turboTax software.

This was my first time using TT for a trust return. I was confused at first with some of the information asked for but understood it much better when I went to the Q&A version vs. forms. I had trouble getting through the filing steps but once I spoke to phone support it went fine.

ERROR to load 2 pieces of your software at once?!!!! Year after year I have to uninstall and then install the next product. WHY CANT YOU GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER? OF COURSE we need a personal AND a business software at the same time. You haven't packaged BUSINESS and deluxe together yet. Duh.

Sure beats paper. Leaves quite a bit to the expertise of the user. Bug: Form 1065 L Ending Balance (to Schedule L, column c, line 9b) does not transfer correctly. I had to exit and re-enter the program and check and uncheck the Yes box a few times before it transferred. Also, it takes a bit of searching to learn about and find the box that must be checked for the current year's depreciation to show up on Form 1065 L.

I had to use TurboTax Business to obtain a Form 1041. I found this program not as user friendly as Form 1040. I don't file a state tax return, but TurboTax informed me I had to. so from that page, I stopped doing what Turbo Tax required for state. The first time I processed the return I was rejected by the IRS. I spent most of today talking to two TurboTax employees and one IRS employee. The Name, Code and EIN check balance somehow did not match so the form was rejected. I have sent a second e-filing to see if all was corrected.

Too expensive! I only need TurboTax business to file a simple trust Form 1041 and create the beneficiary K-1. Every year I am annoyed because TurboTax Premier does not have this capability, so I have to also pay for the very expensive Turbotax business : (
