Works great, however it will not work with older versions of Quickbooks Pro. I used to use H&R Block tax software for my business and because of the frusteration of trying to get it to import from Quickbooks Pro, I switched to Turbotax Business, It worked great. However, this year it would not import form my Quickbooks Pro because my "version" is too old, even though I pay the subscription on Quickbooks Pro to keep it up to date. Its a Money racket!!!!!!!

I had a horrible experience with this product. I spent a lot of money just to do this online. The federal program was completed and I then went into the Ohio return. When completed, the federal was filed fine but the Ohio return was not found in the file. I was on the phone for hours with various support personnel. They ended up sending me a desktop version. I had to re-enter all my federal information by hand because the tax.file would not come into the program. The two program are different and handle some line items different so I have a small descrepancy. I had paid for the state return originally. Then I had to pay for it again to be able to load the Ohio program. I have submitted refund requests for all amounts. I could have completed hand forms spending less time.

Very little useful information in the help files to explain terms, or explain the differences between various classes of trusts, etc. Turbotax Business was used to file for a Trust, without distributions this year, yet the program insisted I make a distribution and prepare distribution forms.

The instructions were thorough and the forms easy to complete. I would have awarded 5 stars except opening the form was not easy. When I clicked on the TurboTax Business 2024 application icon or the previously worked on tax return, I was taken to 2023 versions. I finally figured out how to open my 2024 file, but it should have been much easier.

Relatively an easy 1041 - so went pretty smooth. Had an issue with the Fiduciary Information sheet where the software self-populated a 4 letter control but selected the wrong 4 letters - required call to support to figure out the correct control letters. All good after that.

After two filing it quit recognizing State. It showed as installed but wanted another purchase to proceed. Tech support is non-existent. Ran patch from Intuit site to no avail. Loaded on second computer, again had to try patch, no joy. Wound up making second purchase of Arizona to beat filing deadline. Most frustrating was I had similar issue in 2023.

Form 941 is not Intuit's best work. The way the software handles distributions is very problematic, especially how it "defaults" to last years distribution amounts. Also, the software does a very poor job of explaining how to handle distributions in excess of taxable income.

In the previous years I was able to prepare the W-2's and 1099's very easily and without any hassle. This year it is been more complicated and asking too many questions making it very hard to with, just because I registered and gave all my information. In previous years I just installed the software or downloaded it and worked on it without registering.

For the life of me I cannot understand why the more expensive business version of TurboTax cannot import tax information from financial institutions. This is something that the far less expensive personal version of TurboTax has been able to do for years.

This gets the job done, but it is lacking in some key ways. - I was required to provide a statement about where a Form 1116 entry came from. TurboTax should at least provide guidance on that statement and should be able to provide the statement. - Form 8949 allows a summary of 1099-B to be entered along with sending a copy of the 1099-B. TurboTax Business - Desktop accomodated that entry and adds the comment "See Attached Stmt" but then does not provide a way to attach the 1099-B statement. - It would be very nice if a version was provided for all states (MN in this case).
