The federal side of the house was easy to work with and pretty straightforward. I required a PA state return as well and the way the info transitioned was where it got a bit confusing. There needs to be a way to edit the state information independently of the federal to make it more user friendly.

It was pretty easy, but getting information from QuickBooks online into TurboTax was a pain in the keester. The support team didn't know how to do it, but I was able to do some research on my own and figure out a workaround. I had to find the migration tool, install a trial version of QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop, use that to import a QBXML file generated by some crazy app, then create a QBW file, then import that file into TurboTax. That's insane! And what should have taken 5 minutes took about 3 hours. Sad.

TurboTax makes my yearly Business and Personal taxes easy to do. It pulls from the previous year's taxes so that things are already set up to start with. Then it allows you to change or add as needed. Lastly, filing is easy whether you file electronically or by mail. I have been using TurboTax since the 1990's and have never been disappointed with it.

Overall easy to follow the process. There are a couple spots where it asks questions about what you need, including asking if you need certain forms. It would be nice if the program gave more background around what those forms are or provide guidance based on the info you have input.

I am a long time, very satisfied user of Turbo Tax for my personal taxes. Now I need to prepare trust returns. The lack of functions I am used to in the personal income tax program was very frustrating. For example, the business version does not allow for uploading brokerage statements. Also there is no running computation of tax liability in business version. Not all data transferred from previous year returns. Pretty annoying to have to use "form" screens to enter data manually. So basically I paid $190 for federal 1041 and $55 for state forms and very little of the functionality I am used to with Turbo tax. Don't plan to use next year.

I only need the trust forms to file and I have to pay for the full Business software which is double the price of standard software. I don't feel like I should pay this ,much for one form. Also, the state is not available and I still need to fill those out by hand.

Very Unclear this year. Struggled with many questions. Had to call TurboTax for help. MAKE entries easier to understand. EXPLAIN clearly !!!! Next year, I might have to go to professional CPA. I have been using TurboTax Business for over five years. This year was the worst !!!! However, I called TurboTax online help, and Luciano was GREAT!!!!

First, even though we were tricked into using Quickbooks Online for our record keeping, there is STILL not an easy way to move data over for completing taxes .... no excuse for this. Second, Intuit does not support filing WV State Taxes electronically .... this is ridiculous at this point. We hopefully will not be using your product much longer.

THE CHANGES TO THE TAX PROGRAMS ARE A TOTAL DISGRACE. IT IS HARD TO FIND AREAS THAT WERE EASY TO FIND IN THE PREVIOUS YEARS. THE OLD SAYING 'IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT. YOU HAVE TO GO ALL OVER THE PROGRAM TO FIND THE AREA TO COMPLETE THE RETURNS AND THEN YOU HAVE THESE STUPID OPTIONS TO POP UP WITH VARIOUS CHOICES. IT WAS HARD TO FOLLOW THE PATH.

Have to input same data many times. Name, address, etc. Once entered the software should be smart enough to use it everywhere else. Have to recopy a lot of information that should have been copied from last years return. Email is asked for many, many times, when it doesn't change from one place to another. Should be automatically entered with option to change.
